Fallout Equestria: All That Remains

Didn't come out -quite- as I planned, but I still love it of course. Wanted Crimson to look a little bit more comforting, but hey.

As of late, though, she no longer has the eye bandaged, IIRC, but it's not canon anyway.

I know, but the thing is, drawing her with half of her face looking like TwoFace... yeah

It wouldn't be the easiest thing to draw and nor would it be the nicest thing to look at. Yes that does defeat the whole "you're still beautiful" point in some respect, but a lot more people can enjoy it this way.
Plus, like you say, non canon and this is my way to show Camo how I think he's a wonderful person.
When he said Charmer would appreciate such a thing, I knew it had to be done.

Kinda agree with ketchup. She's removed it and from what I can tell has embraced her appearance. Not to say it doesn't bother her I'm sure it does to an extent, but she doesn't hide it. 

Hard to tell exactly how she feels about it but if I had to guess based on what she's shown I think she'd rather have someone sit with her and listen to the stories she has about the people she lost then to be told she looks pretty.

I got $10 on that drunk-as-shit gryphon archer being the one to listen to her stories and offer surprisingly profound words.

Then they both get completely hammered.

*shrugs* It's just a silly little bit of text I wrote up to go with it anyway, though you might be right.
I was just thinking because she's taken a physical damage that harms her aesthetic appeal and Camo did say that it was because Crimson is a stallion that it would mean the most from him.
(Which my guess is that although your points are very valid, she would also be wanting affirmation from somepony of her preferred sex to show her some affection and tell her she's not ugly.)

It may seem shallow to you, but I don't think you can really understand just how much the 'trivial' and 'shallow' things can mean to people in that situation. I've known burn victims first hand and although outwardly a lot of them acted like Charmer does, putting those problems to one side to try be the best they can for everyone else... when it was just me and them, sitting side by side, they'd ask me if I could still look at them and see them as beautiful because deep down, that means a lot to someone if you take it away.
It used to mean a lot to me and although I've let go of most of it, it still does mean something to me even after all my reconstructive surgeries.

I wouldn't say it's her biggest problem, but feeling (like she isn't) beautiful is definitely one of Charmer's new anxieties. I can bet money on it.

I wasn't trying to insinuate anything, I was just pointing out that it was inaccurate for what the character looks like at this point in the story. The meaning isn't lost.
Regardless, it would be difficult to draw her full injuries, which I do believe extend beyond the facial area as well.

I agreed. I did say it bothered her to an extent. But I'd bet money that if she had the option of bringing one thing back from shanty her appearance would absolutely fall at the bottom of the list.

Again while I'm sure she'd appreciate the compliment I think she'd much prefer to have someone listen about the snake that was like a child to her, the filly she watched out for, or the lover she feels she can never replace and isn't even sure she wants to.

I don't mean to lessen your experiences but I honestly think telling her she's pretty is a cheap way to comfort her in comparison.

Well I never said it would be the only way he would, but yeah, again, it's all just hypothetical stuff right now and I'm trying not to drag this out and make you two look like your nitpicking but I also don't want to make it look like I'm that guy either.

Also yes. Drunk griffon and Charmer, I get the feeling those two are going to have some fun interactions.

It could just as easily have been earlier when she was still covering it with a bandage anyway, given that it's non-canon. I do understand why it's drawn that way.
