I'm not going to say I have the worst life going, I know that's not true and this isn't a competition of how shit life can get; but I know what true stress is unlike him.
-> kicked out before I turned 18, along with my two older brothers. all lived with one another.
-> kicked out of my oldest brothers place after his wife decided to be an absolute bitch and accuse me of false shit all the time
-> currently live all alone and have done since previous point. Almost two years now.
-> paying back a 1k loan + living alone wasn't easy for the first year.
-> always wondering if I'm going to need a lot of cash suddenly if I get asked to move out
-> haven't got a clue what it's like to have parents who stick together more then 10 years, in any set of them.
-> loads of emotional issues including abandonment and worry, my weirdness and other stuff
-> drug use to make life interesting enough to keep living (asides from Project Horizons & now Broken Bonds)

I've gone through a hell of a lot, but I know there's worse I could've gone through and I know other people have it worse then me, so that's why I do my best not to moan about it at all (this being the exception because of douchebag at work making it relevant... as irrelevant as he is to anything).
I'll totally hands down agree with you that I'm too open on personal matters, but that's just a part of how I was brought up...somehow.

You're all so very, very amazing and I honestly don't know how I'd have stayed strong through my roughest of times without all you.
I've gone through challenges all through my life, I've gone down the deep end too many times and given up and given in more times then I'd like to admit.
But the confidence you all have in me is truly inspiring and it means so damn much to me, I just wish I could share how happy you lot make me.
Part of this is because of the long term benefit you've all provided me.
Part of this is because of the recent (as in, today) encouragement and support you've given me.
Part of it is lack of sleep as of late meaning my emotional barriers are down and my heart is feeling pure joy and I need to share it with those who reinforce it with more joy.
You're all amazing. truly so. Thank you.

I have emotional barriers, but I have no barriers in the from of stupid things I say or what is and isn't too much information, for example.
I've got a lot of attachment issues and abandonment issues - I get attached too easily when I don't keep it in check and I always find myself left in the middle of the desert if I think I'm safe.
Being here I've lulled them down somewhat, but now they're truly offline and all I want to do is give you all my love, my utter undying appreciation for all the happiness and goodwill the community has ever given me and everything else.

4. Should ESCP-003 refuse to acknowledge these overtures, deployment of ESCP-001 is authorized at the discretion of agents on site.

Description: ESCP-004 is the only known example of the Draconequus species. (See Document [Redacted] for further physical description and analysis.) His preferred name is Discord. ESCP-004 possesses immense powers over the nature and state of reality, including but not limited to creation and transmutation of physical matter, alteration of mental processes, and direct override of ESCP-002 and ESCP-003's powers. His only known weakness is ESCP-001.
Discord is, on the surface, friendly, playful, and prone to teasing those he perceives as 'too serious'. However, this attitude continues only as long as he gets what he wants. His mood quickly becomes petulant and antagonistic when facing opposition. In addition, ESCP-003 reports that his activities grow progressively more cruel as his boredom increases. His sole desire is to cause chaos, and he has no respect for property, privacy, authority, morality, or life.
Incident 002-04: On ██/██/████, ESCP-004 broke containment with the unwitting assistance of a class of schoolchildren on a palace tour. A physical conflict was observed shortly before the containment breach, but it is unknown whether their emotional state was the proximal cause of the breach or an early symptom of containment failure. In either case, interpersonal conflict in proximity to ESCP-004 is to be taken as a warning sign of a potential imminent breach.
In the course of the breach, ESCP-004 suborned almost all Class E personnel and removed ESCP-001 from containment in order to prevent its deployment. With assistance from ESCP-003, operative ████████ ███████ was able to break Discord's mental influence, locate ESCP-001, and reestablish containment with minimal property damage or loss of life.
This breach was attributed to a poor understanding of ESCP-001's function. Research is ongoing.
Addendum 004a: Dr. ████████'s proposal to transfer ESCP-004 to Tartarus containment facility is suspended pending further research on the mechanism of his imprisonment. Just finished 45. Once again, very impressed with writing. This one was a bit on the action side but still spent some time on characters. Really liked it.
The beginning was good old explosions and bullets everywhere. Very intense. Loved it. When the Cavalry arrived I cheered. A shame that Steel got away again though. He is an even meaner bastard than Autumn Leaf. Whats the deal with the pink glow in his wounds though? A second Canterlot Ghoul who is a Steel ranger? Sounds unlikely.
Some more stuff about Psalm. Kind of doubting that she's Lacunae now, unless she is a very good actor she should remember it. Pinkie's final moments made me choke up. A very well done part.
Poor misguided Blackjack. That Vault really cheapened her sense of loyalty to lovers. And she said THAT so flatly on the intercom. Good lord. This will not end well. First time in this story where I dread an upcoming event with genuine fear. Confound you Somber. You drive me to drink over cartoon small sized equine's relationships in a post nuclear war setting.
Oh god and here I thought you can't go worse than the week blackjack had to endure alone. Still not as bad as flesh melting pink mist but we are getting there. Oh we are backing out to regroup in a nearby town? Holy Lincolts mullet Blackjack is doing a smart decision. Either Whisper is gonna become a super loyal team member or she will back stab BJ at the worst possible time. All bets are off on this one.
What a nice welcoming committee, moving on. Some hilarious makeovers by zombie ponies. Like the side characters, they are great and fleshed out as always. Weird Pony and crawling mane. This ain't gonna end well. The mayor is a fun guy. I really hope that dragon skin is at least half as durable as ceramic plate reinforced Kevlar....wait a sec...

...this guy just broke down and started arguing with him about how we're always without a manager or supervisor on Sundays and how he can't cope despite two years experience on the department and six in store.
He broke down over stress he shouldn't have, given that there's no money troubles, no living arrangement problems, no relationship bust ups, he's not got a drug problem, he's got some extremely minor/petty old best friend issues but nothing to break down over...
He's weak. Simply put, he's weak.
He's always been a childish little cunt who doesn't like it when customers ask him -any- questions, no matter how reasonable they are or how polite they're being to him.
He doesn't like it when he doesn't get his way.
He gets all the shift starts that he wants to have, yet he moans because he doesn't get the busy days off (like any of us ever do, bar one useless guy.)
I'm all for supporting people when they have a rational breakdown, but not when you're just a whiny little douchebag who can't handle that life doesn't pamper you.

I talked to my parents once while I was having a breakdown, and they asked me what makes me happy no matter what.

That discussion ended with the conclusion that I was lonely. Maybe that person was just lonely?
That being said, if he acts the way you describe him, that is no excuse for him not to treat people properly.
I finally read the chapter and it was awesome, better than the other 40's so far.
Maybe the editors should be given a title like 'co-author' or something. I'm not saying Somber doesn't work hard, but 'editor' seems to be a bit underrated for the things they apparently do for this fic.

I really like the beginning bit explaining why Steel Rain is scarier than Deus.

And besides that, she might lose the sword if she were to do that, and making things more flashy might impede progress because she and styggie would be caught in the blast, and it might not affect steel rangers (who are in power armor that most likely gives them radiation resistance) as drastically as it would affect them (who already had their tushes handed to them after the earlier explosion. AND that was only a sliver of starmetal. Imagine what would happen if you added more than a sliver.)
