I believe it was everybody else who was initially confused. One would expect the width to have probably been measured, not the circumference - so people got a little... shocked.

Mechwarrior Online will be awesome when it's out and I can play it (likely not able to until next year..) but while I has some interest in Diablo 3, Torchlight 2 has my attention for a hack 'n' slash. :D
For now, Warlock: Master Of The Arcane has my turn-based love, being reminiscent of Master Of Magic.

And MoM is the best DOS game out there.

Diablo has a special place for me as well. Emphasis on Diablo. Not Diablo 2 (although I still enjoyed that greatly), and especially not Diablo 3, from everything I've seen and heard. I still plan to get it, but I'm in no real hurry for it..
And MoM is indeed epic, although Transport Tycoon was my other great favourite during my earlier childhood.

When Fluttershy finally finds out what he's willing to do, what he has done, it's an insurmountable betrayal of the trust she placed in him. She realizes far too late that she has no idea who this stallion really is.

I was re-reading that scene where Deus eavesdropped on Sanguine and the electronic voice, and a couple of things popped out at me. First, he calls the voice Director, which of course suggests that it's Horse, not Goldenblood, since Goldy was deposed well before the Last Day. (The voice never identifies itself as the Director, though...) However, I've got this twitchy feeling about Garnet. You know how the OIA was invisibly involved in everything but taking credit for nothing? I feel like Garnet is that to the OIA.

Actually, I smell a cabal at work. Garnet seems to be Fluttershy's keeper, liason to the Ministry of Peace. She also referred to Emerald at the MAS during Gorgon's operation, and someone named Onyx told her they had to seal the Redoubt -- sounds like the MWT liason, based on her name-drop in Horse's conversation with AJ about Winona (Ch 26). I'll bet the change of directors barely disrupted things, because these six (or is it three?) were still there to make sure everything ran smoothly. I would lay bits to biscuits that the voice Sanguine calls "Director" isn't Horse or Goldenblood.

I wonder what the line of succession is for the OIA... was Garnet first in line? Horse is probably either dead in the Redoubt or locked outside. Or a drooling vegetable in his suspension pod, with Garnet running everything in his name. Either way.
