*Willow looks over to Guard, Willow's eyes widening when the bandages over his eye starts turning a Crimson Red*

Guard, when your eye got injured, did you get all the debris out?

He shrugs
"I got most it I think, don't really remember. I'd really like ta forget the whole thing."
A fresh wave of pain goes through him and he grimaces
"I know the eye is already fucked, and I haven't really had time ta check on it."

((I think I'm going to head off too.))
*She lowers her head onto her still clean smelling hooves and drifts off to sleep.*

((So, I think we reach exit/base tomorrow?))

*Grabs Guard with his TK and holds him in place. Then he begins to remove the bandages.*

Um, if you have any Med-x, you're going to want to take it like right now.

He takes deep breath

Shit, Guard! If you had waited to get back to the base, you'd have lost the eye. Oh boy. You did a halfassed job getting out the debris. What is this, glass?

"All it does is make me sick, besides, I've a spell ta take care a pain."
He cast the spell and his eye goes numb
"Alright, it should be fine now, do it."
He floats out bandages

By the way, Guard, I think the hallucinations were effecting you worse than you thought, because there is no reason that a Medic of your training should have missed-
*Suddenly yanks three long, jagged shards of glass. At the same time, placing a healing totem over his eye*

He grunts in pain, but then relaxs.
"Now can ya bandage me up?"

I'm just wondering...where did you find glass in caves and how it ended up in your eye?

[Guest]

"Terminal exploded."
He snorts

Emma puts Moody on her back, walks over to Mav and whispers
"It's better not to ask how it happened, it was a really bad memory."

[Katarn]

Terminal...okay, I won't ask further.

[Guest]

Emma nods at Mav
"It's for the best you don't."


((As long as his vision is pretty much screwed it's fine, I wanted to do something at the ranger base.))

I guess it's true what they say, Doctors DO make the worst patients.

Just a moment, This totem works differently from your healing potions. Instead of quickly regrowing the tissue with a high risk of scarring, it stitches it back together from the inside out, making sure it's one hundred percent healthy.
Also, since the sclera was breached, the totem also has to restore the aqueous humor fluid that was lost so that your vision isn't permanently impaired.
All of this takes time, and if I rush, I could just end up doing more damage.

*Several minutes later*

Alright, that should do it.

*Bandages up the eye*

I'm not sure if I got it all or not, so you're going to want to get to the Clinic ASAP for a checkup when we get back.

And starts walking

((Sorry, but eye injury is quite common among the deer due to their past time of locking horns in sparring matches. It'd make since that Willow knows how to effectively treat them.))
