It does seem like it would make a good episode, or more likely show-tone story. And she does deserve a second chance at least as much as some we've seen lately (Fluttershy's brother, the guy from this episode), and certainly more than Starlight Glimmer. That said, not being a team player really does seem like a problem in this context, more so than the dealing with random BS showing up out of nowhere.
