The Elder Scrolls: Tales of the Nerevarine

"You sound like Cienele, Dalamus."

"No and I don't care." He told Aldarilar.
"I'm going to go to the temple library to look for Mehra, enjoy your show." Dalamus said before leaving towards for the the library.

Sighs. "So, what do you want to do, follow Dalamus and do stuff or enjoy show on arena?"

"I doubt Dalamus can get into much trouble at a library. Assuming he knows how to read he might actually enjoy himself."

"I guess it's arena time then."

"I guess I'll follow you."

Aldarilar nodded and lead Chrystyna to where they can pay entrance fee.

A lean Dunmer mare stood at the entrance, talking to a rather large Nord stallion. The stood next to a sign that had the same information as the one held by the excited stallion below.

"Damnit!" Cienele shouted, having turned a wrong corner after following the Kahjiit and the Dunmer for hours, and completely losing sight of them. She stomped her hooves and headed back into town to look for the others.

"Pardon, who do I talk to about entrance?"

"That would be me. I'm guessing you two want tickets?" the mare asked, turning from her friend.

"Yes please," she pulls out enough money to cover both her and Al, "Two adults."

"Here you go," she said, passing them two tickets. "Enjoy the show."

Chrystyna led Al in and looked around the arena. (5)

Chrystyna sees a rather large stadium-like room, with a large pit in the center. The room is rather crowded, and several ponies are walking up and down the aisles with carts. There is a large wooden stage set up in the middle of the pit, and several ponies are moving equipment in place for the concert.

Chrystyna looks for some good seats. (6)

Ari considered for a moment, "Alright...one ticket for me also."

There is an empty section in the front to the left of the stage.

Chrystyna takes Al down to the empty section and sat down.

Ari went over to the others and settled in for the show.

"Hey Ari, I don't suppose you've heard of these bands before, have you?"

Ari answered, "Not really....mostly sang with my battle-born cousins. This should be interesting."

"Huh... If nothing else the gladiatorial even after should be entertaining."

"I hope it would." Aldarilar said. "To be honest, never saw one."

"Me neither. So I guess it's the first time for all of us."

Four ponies walked out onto the stage, two nords, a redguard and a dunmer. The lead, and lankier of the nords trots over to a strange pole with a large gem on the end of it.

"Alright Vivec, are you ready for some music!" he called into the device, the sound amplified by some sort of magic through the room.

With that, the crowd, which had been murmuring cheered loudly, calling out for them to begin.

"Well, this is getting interesting."

"Indeed."

With that, the band sharply started their first song, all four of them playing their strange instruments. About a minute into the song, the pony at the strange pole began to sing, still playing his instrument.

A sword of fire and an axe of cold
Vision of the Sibyl has foretold
Armies gather on the battle-plain
All will fall and Nirn will die in flame

Here on the battle-plain
We will die in flame

In falcon's feathers soaring overhead
Choosing warriors among the dead

As they finished, many in the crowd erupted with cheers and shouts, clearly approving of the song.

Chrystyna was stunned, she'd never heard anything even remotely similar to what she'd just heard and her ears were ringing in a not entirely unpleasant way, "Woah..."
