Yeah, some crazy shit's going down. An MIT security officer is either dead or critically wounded, explosions from grenades, automatic gunfire. SWAT and police are responding with everything they have, and several Guardsman have been seen in full battle-rattle assisting them.

Keep in mind most of that is probably bullshit and we'll get the real story sometime next week.

I essentially have it. Right now, I'm grabbing a little more xp because my crew is almost up to 100%.

And let me tell you, I'm glad I got all that xp last night, because the teams thus far have been complete rejects.

Good call. Be aware that the Jagd will be underwhelming until you get the 105, and the tracks and engine are absolutely critical to its effectiveness as well. Don't get discouraged early.

Once you're in it, soon as we can platoon I can carry you with my T29 or my own Jagd.

Latest little info updates...my feelings in italics.

WG feels the FV4202 is perfectly balanced.

WG confirmed for actually blind.

WG states that multi-turret function will not appear in the forseeable future.

M3 Lee, Churchill 1 and that French tank will remain annoyingly teasing then. Also means no awesome Russian T35. Also means the AT-8 and AT-7 don't get to unleash the true fury.

Firefly "may appear next year"

This is getting beyond a joke. 2014 at earliest for one of WW2's most iconic tanks bearing the best Allied AT gun of the entire war that essentially saved the Western Front single handed? Absolutely unbelievable.

Shell prices may be rebalanced taking penetration into account

On one hand this denotes a potential 20 pounder cost reduction. On the other hand it also confirms that 20 pounder was overpriced simply on the part of national bias and no other reason.

British will not recieve artillery in 8.6 update, nor will Chinese recieve any. Will include every other nation up to tier ten for artillery, intended to rebalance artillery to be more specialised and less prominent.

Oh, so Britain just stops existing now, does it? After teasing with the Sexton? At the very least this might help remove the auto arty kill element in games right now.

Screw you, WG. Screw you. The Russian and German ones are fine, they are obscure test tanks. But taking an iconic tank like the M60 that millions would want to drive and then making it an elite 1% of the playerbase only tank that most players don't even get a chance to research or even pay for let alone own is just beyond the realms of all belief. This is outrageous.

What? That makes no sense whatsoever. Same with the Firefly, they've got enough Sherman models in the game already they could probably kitbash it into existence in a few hours.

The real madness is the models for the Lend Lease line are allegedly finished already and have been for some time. Someone spotted them in the files and dragged out their garage images. Seems the M4 might be the Grizzly I predicted.

I agree with everything except the M60 problem. They'd have to create a tier 11 to fit it into the existing tech tree, seeing as how the M48 is already tier 10.

Not particularly within the realms of WoT mechanics, the M60 Patton wasn't exactly a colossal upgrade over the M48 in any terms other than elements that don't really matter in WoT. The stats we've seen pretty accurately reflect it as an M48 with less armour and a bit more speed as generally reflects tanks in that era until the UK discovered composites. It still used the same gun after all.

The idea that a lot of people had for reward tanks was to have them as something that every tier 10 in a tree researches toward no matter which line you complete. It's still a balanced tier 10, just you only get it as a sidegrade after finishing a line. It's your final goal, essentially. Unfortunately, WG feels that such an icon (and it's a beauty, the M60 RISE turret!) deserves to get thrown into only a tiny portion of the playerbase. All the while they give Russian players the T-62A (iconic tank) and the Germans the Leopard 1 (iconic tank). It's really just another example of how they don't understand what matters to other countries in their armoured history. Serb (lead dev for those who don't know) has already been caught saying (I paraphrase) that "Only those from Russia truly know what it is to love a tank, do you all have a tank on a monument outside every city? No. Then stop whining, your tanks are never iconic because you don't care."

Well, it would be iconic if it was a T-62. The T-62A is kinda like a byproduct of its development, and is less advanced.

But yeah, that mechanic with the full-tree rewards would have been good.

Yeah...that all is pretty bullshit. Restricting tanks to clan wars players like that. As for the Sherman Firefly, I'm going with what Ketchup said. It really shouldn't take that long to make one with the existing files and expand upon them. Granted, that's not factoring testing, but seriously...slap together stuff from an existing model, program hitboxes and stats...I'd estimate it'd take a week. Two at most. I'm no expert at game programming, though.
