Giving up on it for this evening, the problem is I have Fioptics which means there exists zero routers that work for my network meaning I have a franken setup.

Here is where we stand, my car battery died last night waiting on roadside assistance to get there. I've tried one method and have two left to get these routers to play nice. Looks like another two hours before I can say either way if a store trip is required. It will be up today or my name is not Baron Von Straffleboard the Splendid.

So here is where we stand, my car is ready to go, I've tried all three methods and I need to go to the store. And my dog needs walkies, time to combine the two.

I found out how we can get the IC2 ores! Twilight Forest portals are extremely easy to build, and contain them, along with numerous other things.

Tis true. The large hollow hills are FULL of ores. It's kinda overpowered. Of course, they are also full of mob spawners, including creeper and endermen ones.

Also, if you die in the Twilight Forest you don't respawn in the overworld or the portal. You respawn in the part of the Twilight Forest that corresponds with the overworld's spawn point.

I've taken note of the fact that they are rare, and the place is dangerous enough as it is. If we could take over one of those castle things, (which would be an utter blast, I think) we can make a base of operations. Do beds work there?

Yeah, beds will reset your spawn.

Update. Back from shopping two things left to try, am ordering a new century VDSL modem because the VDSL-ADSL bridge trick did not work nor the dumb VDSL terminal trick nor a DMZ all lock nor a firmware wipe work. I still have to get around the bloodly westell modem to fix this.

Next day air-Century modem go.

That's too bad. Hopefully that will work.

In other news, I just took a look into Gravitation Suite.

It lets you make a quantum armor chestplate that also lets you fly. It lets you make a lappack that can store 10,000,000 EU. It lets you build a tool called the vajra that does 30% more damage than the nano saber AND can break any block except bedrock in one hit. You can make a solar helmet that stores 1,000,000 EU, can charge 1,000,000 EU in about one minute five seconds, and can charge your quantum/nano armor and your items.

Yeah, I don't think we should use this mod.

Look at the requirements to make it though. It's end game level difficult to make. It would take a very long time until someone even made just one of those items.

So? It's basically creative mode. Once you get them, they last forever. The Quantum suit is already incredibly powerful as is, it doesn't need anything else. All the stuff I listed is too powerful.

It will happen sooner than you think, and once we have the infrastructure in place to build one, it will be as simple as time and resources to build more and more. We would like to be able for the server to be fun for a long while, and we are already in a position to enter the "endgame"

I made a quantumsuit on a local server pretty much on my own. It takes awhile, but it's not hard, really. It's stupid powerful, though. I was always fond of the Composite Vest, myself.

So I'm calling Time Warner cable to switch providers because this is fracking silly.

Summary
The new modem failed to work despite supposedly being a VDSL/ADSL modem. Seems they are hit or miss so I ordered a second model from a different manufacturer from Best Buy and had it shipped next day air. I thought to late in the day to ship today. But per Best Buy it shipped three hours ago so... I might get it tomorrow and as it next day air it will be for sure by Saterday.

The only question is if it works when it gets there.
OAN I also order Time Warner to come out install Time Warner instead of Fioptics.

Maybe you should ask for help from someone? Have you done that?
I mean, there might be something wrong with your internet that someone specializing in it can fix.

Or you can switch providers.

I'm a IT Tech, I already threw this to my workplace and the two network guys sneered at me when they saw the Westell modem. I also threw it to our Cisco admin who played with it for an hour and told me bluntly "This modem is shit"

Which is why I'm replacing it and UPS claims it's on a truck for delivery today.
