General cosplay

alright, so I saw this topic, and saw it was empty so I thought, what the hay, why not? Anywho, what have people here cosplayed as or plan to cosplay as? I've only cosplayed once, as Firo from "Baccano!". I want to cosplay in the future as Riku from the Kingdom Hearts series, or as Dr. Stein from Soul Eater.

I am going as soarin' next time I cosplay.

I'm nothing if not a colossal nerd, so I love this sort of thing. Me and my friends get costumed up a few times a years when the conventions roll round and it's always great fun (especially scaring "normal" people in lifts and carparks, LOL! :D)

Anyway, as this part of the forum is a bit dead I thought I'd share a few photos of some of the costumes I have, most of which come from various sci-fi TV shows ...

First up is John Crichton from Farscape - my favourite TV show!

This is the one I've spent the most time and money on - though you can't see it, I have a pouch on my belt that came from the screen used costume which I managed to win in an auction AGES ago.

Next up is Cameron Mitchell from Stargate SG-1

Sadly, I don't have this costume any more. Interestingly though, both Mitchell and Crichton were played by the same actor Ben Browder.

Instead of the SG-1 costume, I now have a Stargate Universe costume

I have this one from Battlestar Galactica, it's supposed to be the character Sam Anders, but I also have a set of dogtags with own name on them

This one is actually a screen used costume that I managed to bag at another auction a few years back. I'm also working on making another one to go with this for the Battlestar Pegasus (Rainbow Dash being my favourite pony, I thought that it would be quite fitting ;) hehe)

This is pretty much my day to day clothing - only with a pair of aviators and a gun

Many years ago I dressed up as Agent Smith from the Matrix for a Halloween party with my flat mates

i wanna possibly be Nero from Devil May Cry!!! if i shed a few pounds....

ive never cosplayed, but i do have weird friends trying to drag me to random cons so idk maybe someday. probably pony related.

I did Cardcaptor Sakura before, and Lady Une from Gundam Wing. Lady Une was pretty epic actually; my friend went as Luteniant Noin with me.

last time i cosplayed i went as gin frombleach....and nxt time i plan to go as mustang from full metal.

I've never cosplayed as I don't have any friends that would do that kind of thing but I really would like to someday.

thats a shame it can be really fun.
