I like my coffee, but various alcoholic drinks are both delicious and strong social traditions that tie us to our past and to one another in the present. Although I gotta admit, Scyto, I do like this one kind of Jack I had that had a lot of honey in it. It was surprising.

I like tea. I've grown to dislike coffee more and more. I almost never drink alcohol. Sometimes like it in small amounts if I drink it slowly, but that's it.

Without tea, I doubt I'd be able to function at all. My addiction to the potion increases with every week.

I've never been a big fan of whiskey. It always tastes like wood to me.

I haven't touched booze in a while myself. Just haven't had the desire to.

I usually use Jack Daniels for mixing with root beer/coke. There's a lot of different types of whiskey. I'll second Yukon Jack, and throw in Yukon Jack Jacapple as well. Wild Turkey American Honey is very sweet, but one of my favorites. Jeffersons Bourbon and Bulleit Rye are both excellent for drinking neat, and as for scotch Johnny Walker Black/Gold are pretty good.

I need some advice. I hope this makes some sense, because I'm generally really bad at wording questions. I'm trying to find a career to go into, but I don't know what to look for besides what I enjoy, which is designing things. I've been considering following my brother's example, doing what I'm passionate about, but I've checked the Bureau of Labor's statistics on both of our career paths; I've found that they are pretty slow growing and that competition is strong. Most things I've found that revolve around designing, at least in IT and Art, have really strong competition. The only exception I can think of is Web Design, which looks like a pain in the ass judging by the way the site describes it. I want to do something I enjoy, but I don't want to spend years in college for a useless degree. What criteria should I be looking for besides the salary and whether or not I enjoy it?

Put together a resume. Upload it to several career sites. Let people who try and match resumes to jobs (as well as a LOT of bots) try to do exactly that. Consider the positions you come across and are offered, try and figure out what you like or don't like about the career's descriptions both through looking them up and talking to recruiters (or even through interviews), and you should eventually get an idea about what you really want.

Thank you. I've been trying to figure this stuff out on my own for a few months since there's few, if any, people I can talk to about it. It has been stressful.

Yeah, the COF's plastered with shit like that. It's mostly the fuckin' POG's that have that sort of shit, which makes it somewhat odd that they're all over the place in one of the highest-performing infantry battalions in the brigade.

Oh, you're not alone--the everyone who's seen those posters so had has laughed their asses off. Most actual soldiers don't get "motivated" like the Army seems to think they do, either. Maybe in an actual combat zone, the camaraderie is tempered a bit, but it's something that happens among the men, not that comes from the higher echelons
