Dungeons & Dragon's Role Play

Description: Nidal never removes her steel spiked gauntlets, which have an alchemic circle on them allowing her to alter the environment. She does any job as long as it pays well, no matter how illegal or immoral it might be. Other than her gauntlets, she wears a minimal amount of steel armor, allowing her to still be agile while having vital areas well defended. She has a two pouches on her waist, one for coin and the other for treasures like gems.

Magic: Equivalent exchange. To be able to make anything, she needs the materials. She can enchant her gauntlets with fire by creating a spark by striking the gauntlets together then altering the air to keep the fire going around her gauntlets. She can enchant her gauntlets with ice by smashing them together and chilling the air to the point of freezing. She can smash the ground, forcing rocks to fly into the air, which she can proceed to punch to launch them at an enemy, turning them into stone spikes with the initial impact. She can tap the circle on one of the gauntlets to activate it, creating a ball of compressed air she can punch into a wind spear. All of these spells are simple, altering the environment by a small amount. She has some bigger spells but to do those, she needs to draw a circle on what she wants to affect.

History: From a young age, she was trained by her father to be a brawler. At the age of seven, she encountered an alchemist who saw she had potential. He taught her the basics and gave her a book before leaving three years later. After two more years of training with both her father and alone in alchemy, she left her village to begin her own adventure like tradition, leaving at the age of 12. At that point, she had already etched the alchemy circle into the steel gauntlets. Two years later, she found herself staring at a jail in the distance, a request to break a prisoner out taken.

Nidal edged closer to the Kavvoshi Prison, the rocky ground under her passing by.
*Break in, grab the target, get out, bring him to the meeting spot, get rich. Nothing I haven't done before... save getting rich...*
She looked up at the setting sun, barely above the horizon.
*I'll get a bit closer then rest for a few hours until night has settled down.*
She scanned the prison wall again, taking note of how it was built. Pulling out and setting the blueprints she had received, she found the wall she had scanned.
*Here will be the easiest spot to break through, but it's too far from the prisoner. And right by the prisoner is too thick. Guess I'll have to go in halfway.*
She put the blueprints away and dashed to the next cluster of rocks, keeping her hidden from the guards on the wall. She sprinted a few more times, getting closer each time.
*Too risky to get any closer. This'll be where I rest.*
She pulled out the blueprints again and began to study them.

Arvena stood up and wandered to the iron bars of her cell.
"Hey. I'm over here. You a Khajiit? What are you doing in this rat hole?"

One of the guards further down the dungeon hall looked up from his book.
"Hey, quiet down there. We never said you could speak."

Arvena scowled.
"We should probably whisper"

Larva sat against the wall of his bleak cell. The scent of decaying bodies filled his nose, causing him to vomit. He kept his eyes in the entrance to the cell, and started to scream,

"Where the hell am I?!"

The guard looked up from his book once more.
"Hey, I told you prisoners to shut the hell up! Continue that yelling and I ensure you'll get a beating."

Khaj'darrak whispered back
" yes we should whisper so the guards don't hear us,
I am a Khajiit my name is Khaj'darrak, or in the human tongue desert thief."
"What is your name?"
*I hope she is not argonian..*

(Hey, are we shackled or anything? Or are we just in the cell.)

Arngeirr set up in his cell, he took a look at his surroundings and quickly came to the conclusion he was in jail. Flashes of the night before came back to view, The letter saying that his Assassin clan had been wiped out, him getting drunk at a local inn, and finally in his drunk rage stabbing a town guard in the chest.
He heard some shouting coming from some of the other cells and leaned to get a better view.

"hey do ya mind I'm trying to enjoy my last few hours"

"Arvena is my name. I study at the College of Arcane Arts. Can you believe that they drugged me on Mages Bane? It makes my head all cloudy."
(Just in a cell mate. No shackles. Small cell, little bed and thats about it. A few cells have barred windows towards the ceiling, but not all.)

Theradus was deep in thought. He had no idea of what to expect. In a few short hours, he would die with no legacy in his name.

He then heard faint calls from other cells. He walked up to the gate and lightly whispered out,

" If you dont mind, I'd like to enter this conversation. Not like I had anything better to do"

"Of course. I hear some of us will be dead soon anyway. Any reason your stuck here with us?" She whispered. "I'm here for scaring the locals. Turns out that the arcane arts are treated like witch craft around here. You'd think they'd be more educated than that. All I did was a simple light spell."
She turned in the direction of the angry prisoner's voice.
"Some of us are dead soon anyways and would like to talk our last moments away."

"crazy mages.."
He turned away and looked at the guard. He smiled as a plan slowly formed in his head.
*but what about the others?*
He shook his head, he didn't need any friends. they all ended up dead anyway....

"One doesn't get pinned for an attempted assassination for nothing. And Khajiit don't usually live in these parts. What were you doing round here in the first place?"

(Hey, Albert. you sound pretty evil. There's room on the evil team if you'd like, or you can stick with the good guys. your call. If you wanna go evil, just contact me.)

(OCC: soo whos suppose to save us? or do we have to break out our selves? oh and Arn is more of a neutral character, plus he's sort of deppresed about the death of his clan. They were sort of his family)

(Albert, just keep RPing. The story will be revealed as it comes, but you should already know if you read a certain post.)

The distant thundering of the oncoming storm reached Arngeirr's ears.
*rain! Oh crap rain!! Well there goes any attempts to get out*
He turned his attention back to the ongoing conversation.

"If there was a way out, I'm confident I already would have thought of it."

(Is water deadly or painful to your character, or is he just scared of it? I totally forgot about that when creating this scenario.)

"well i say our chances of escape are slim. and i doubt anyone would want to rescue a bunch of low lifers."

(Yeah, they have a natural fear of water and it also blocks their powers and burns their skin alittle)

"Hehe... thats just bad luck, ever consider changing your job interests?"

(Tried to add some humor to dim the situation)

"Miss-fire? Thats a mage thing. Never heard of a bow 'accidentally' shooting."

The guard looked up from his book a final time and shouted across the dungeon,
"Hey, Don't think I can't hear y'all whisperin' down there! Next person to make a noise gets their tongue cut out!"

Weather change: It is now storming.

Arngeirr searches his room looking for any escapes, but only found a old harmonica. Bored he started playing a tune.
*might as well try to piss that guard off* he thought with a grin
