Tumble's still had his back more then anyone else in the group, he could honestly careless what he is or why he didn't say anything about it. He figures he has his reasons.

No, not really. Shadow, didn't really know Ditzy she was just a merchant to him. Plus he still doesn't think it's her, there wasn't any proof.

That still doesn't explain at all why he can still trust someone who has just proven that he was lying the entire time. Does Shadow have no heart at all? Because that is what you are making him look like.

It doesnt make any sense for the Xeonophobic Enclave to be teaching a medic about Changelings. Especially since they had no plans at the time of returning to the surface.

Admiral, the Enclave would never teach that. They taught Job Skills from a young age, and knowing about a Changeling invasion has no use for medical personnel.
Other languages can actually have military use, so learning Germane makes sense.

The only person in the wasteland he cares about is Cherry and that's it. Tumble has healed Cherry, and protected her. As well as help him when he's needed it. So, he's repaying the favor for the person that he sees as his only friend, that he's ever had.
