Fallout Equestria: The Kingdom

"I'll keep an eye out. Not like I have much use for them anyways." Eve walks out of the store. The job wasn't exactly what she expected, but caps are caps, and it seemed harmless enough.

The colt looks at the ground nervously and paws at it with his hoof before quietly responding. "Black Licorice."

The colt nodded and took a short drink before answering. "I live here now," the colt replied softly. "With my mama and the others."

"Mama said we have to hide," the colt quietly responded. "She spends a lot of time with Papa down the hall. She tells me the vent is safe..."

"Um...okay..." the colt replied nervously and trotted to the door. He looked both ways down the hall then started down it, hugging the wall with his side as he walked.

((Both of you roll perception))

As they step out the door, Charcoal and Clockwork notice that the door they came through has closed, and the door at the end where they saw the eyes is no longer shut. They can hear raspy breathing from around the corner and through the now open doorway.

whisper to Charcoal:

The colt stops at the corner and carefully looks around it. His lips curl into a little smile and he trots around the corner, his legs moving with slightly more life. "Hi Rust Bucket," he chirps once he's completely rounded the corner. Whoever he's talking to doesn't respond.

Around the corner Scorch sees Licorice trotting ahead still, and a ghoul stallion standing in the middle of the hall. As soon as it sees him, the ghoul unleashes an unearthly howl which is soon echoed a few times further down the hall, as well as from the doorway beside the bird. The Feral charges. At the same time three more run into the hall, and another jumps from the room beside him.

((All Ferals have died))
At the sound of the rustling and fighting behind him, the colt turns and sees the body. A frown instantly forms on his face and he looks up to the group sadly. "You...you killed them?"

"O-okay..." the colt hung his head. He slowly turned around and kept trotting, his hooves once again dragging slowly. He stopped a little further down the hall and pushed open a door. He lit up a little more and trotted in. "Hi Mama! Hi Papa!"

A raspy female voice responded frantically. "Licorice? What are you doing here sweetie? Mama told you to stay in the vent today."
