(PHCC)Minecraft server

On another note before I leave for the day, both new Quarry's are up and running and have tons of work yet to do. After last nights problem I corrected the cobblestone issue were in 5 diamond chests were not enough to store everything because the two quarrys (One in 114 and one in the overworld) together overnight mined over 30,000 cobblestone in addition to everything else. So I added a upgraded barrel and a diamond sorting pipe to hopefully ensure all that cobblestone is tossed someplace useful.

And I built and installed three new electrical engines so the quarry is working at full tilt now. Five hours more and bedrock will have been hit. Then comes the problem of a new quarry as moving the fully charged MSFU's are impossible.

Next up to automate, farming and sheering the sheep.

I made a MASSIVE derp.
Made a bad world, forgot to make a linking book just before.
Died in the world, lost all the gear I had on me (which wasn't anything super amazing bar my enchanted bow anyway) and either need a rescue (I don't recommend this) or a world location edit.

Server is back up your back in the overworld, I believe I set you to downtown but you might spawn inside something, but being in the overworld at least you'll be in the overworld so if you die you'll spawn back at stable 0 and can rebuild.

It wasn't random generated (I remember you saying that's got issues) but I guess I either fucked around with the notes too much (tried not to make it too picky, however) or some worlds just are bad and you gotta get lucky?

Contradictory symbols and certain symbols (Ores and accelerated) nearly always result in punishment in the form of decay or other.

Typically exploring a new myscraft world is done with just a linking book back and a pickaxe before your sure things are safe.

Yeah, I'll be taking that to mind in future!

It fixes a bug or six so the update was useful. The above link contains Advanced Machines and Traincraft.

I assume we simply put this into the direwolf folder, right? (after extracting from the RAR folder, of course.)

Yup. I was right.
Though I do have one thing - whenever I make a new world, I always manage to get miners ache or whatever (I can't remember the name now) even if it's got nothing special.

Any way to avoid this or is it just something you have to keep trying for a world that won't poison you?

I was setting everything to normal but even on a single biome with just plains it was going weird.

I haven't been able to get the game to launch. Placing traincraft and AM in the mods folder just makes it crash, despite seeming to be added to the mod list.

I don't know how this will affect you but:

-delete the Direwolf20 folder from your desktop
-go back on the FTB launcher, redownload it and make sure you have 5.0.1 chosen
-install
-download the folder Adder put up, unzip it, put both files in your mods folder of the new direwolf folder


I know it's basic stuff, but that'll give you a fresh start with all that and should be all you need to do, in theory.

Didn't work, I did the same thing the first time as well.

When I launch it with those two mods in the folder, it crashes before the menu. Taking the prompt to update the modpack makes it launchable, but removes the mods.

Once again, exploring worlds has caused me to lose all my stuff... this time, lag made it so I couldn't use my linking book to get out of a poisoned world.

I'm going to need another place edit, sorry adder. After this, I'm not going to even bother attempting to make a world myself, they always end up poisoning me, making me weak / slow or doing this (though the lag was the actual killer, not allowing me to use my linking book yet still giving me damage.)

Uploading now. Had to sign up to box.com because it's over 100mb (105mb) and I don't want to trawl the internet for sites that allow that little extra or ask you if you have a torrent program only to find you don't.

remember :

mods_data in the mod folder, and mods_config in the config folder.

You need both for the stuff to work.

rephrased :

if you add a mod in the mod folder, remember to also add the config file in the config folder.

Thanks, it works fine now.

I downloaded the file, Kipper, but I can't access it through FTB. I put it in the install folders.

Also, FTB doesn't give me an option for 5, but it does for 5.0.1.

Edit: Okay, I didn't see other posts.

This is not working. I am frustrated. Help.

That folder has everything I have and works for me.
I'm running the FTB launcher with the 5.0.1 version of Direwolf20
There's nothing more I can add because I've taken nothing out of that file before 7zipping it and I have no issues.

I've completed construction of the hull of my ship, but it's currently full of water. Can pumps be used to get the water out, or do I have to simply go through the long process of filling it with sand and dirt?

Now it says I don't have FML installed.

Yeah, reinstalling Direwolf20 adds EE3 and Gravitysuite back in, so you have to remove those manually.

So who's having what issues at the moment?

I don't know if you saw, but I got myself killed in another world again thanks to a mixture of bad world and lag.
(Lag prevented me from using my linking book, killing me and meaning I lost the book because it disappeared and I kept dying... then found a book I thought that it was and it turned out to be to ANOTHER world.)

edit: and because of that, like I said before, I won't try any more world building because I only have bad luck with that.

Randomly generated ages are full of corruption. You have to use the writing desk if you don't want corruption. Even then, if you add too many powerful or unnatural symbols, it will still be corrupted.

That's the thing, I was ALWAYS using the writing desk and never did I try for anything OP


Normal day/night, normal brightness, normal skies, large biomes, only plains, green hills and mountain ridges (generally), no amazing add ons.. just wanted a nice green world.
Instead, I was always getting corruption 100% of the time.

I'm pretty sure the act of making worlds increases the chances of corruption. And we've made hundreds of them.
