No it ain't a joke, I just wanted t'tell ya I'm gettin' sent back t'Tenpony early. I leave in a couple hours so if ya want yer horn fixed I can do it now or we can wait till everyone gets back t'Tenpony.

How long it was since last time....year or more....
*floats revolver to his temple and sits like this for a few minutes*
*shook his head* Later...too drunk and too tired...
*places revolver near his bed and falls asleep*

The mare gives the stallion another clonk on the head.
"Ah leave for a week an ya let mah shop go t'hell!"
She walks past Moody to give the stallion a buck before turning back.
"Ah'm sorry 'bout mah nephew here. No good, cap grubbin', lazy as hell punk he is." She hits him over the head again. "But he's the only family ah gots left so ah puts up with 'im. But tell me son, where'd ya learn to work armor like this? Ah may have a job open for ya."

Moody backs up a bit and gives a nervous smile.
"It's no problem ma'am. I can't say my family is perfect but I care for them. And thanks for the offer but I still have work to do else where. As for where I learned my skills, an old unicorn named Fix-it taught them to me."

At the name the mare's ears perk up. "Ol' Fix-it actually took on a helper? That's funny kid, cause that old mule barely tolerated his own self, let alone others. How is he?"

Moody laughs a bit. "Yeah, the old buck was stubborn as a mule and twice as mean, but taught me all the same."
He then lowers his head. "Hate to say it but last I heard he's dead. Was at Friendship City when it was attacked..."

"Ahm sorry to hear that kid. Tell ya what, as a favor to that ol' mule ya can come and fix up anythang ya need ta, free o' charge."

"Are you sure ma'am?"

"Course ah am. Ya was nice 'nuff to fix up what mah nephew messed up and ah still owe that ol' mule. We went way back, and he was so good in bed.."

"Okaythanksgottagobye!" And Moody runs out the door.

*Starts casting a spell*
This might hurt a bit.*continues casting and heavy breathing*Okay...This is..Taken a bit more...energy then I remember.

((And I wrapped up my misadventure, fixed my armor, and built more backstory just in time! All unplanned and on the fly!))

Moody nearly ends up running into Guard a ways from the shop.
"Oh, hey Guard. Hope you've been enjoying the town. I'd like to say I have been but I've also been inside the back of a shop for a few hours..."

Hey bud, yeah I got myself a new pistol*Floats it out*but, I came t'tell ya I'm gettin' sent back t'Tenpony early Aon said he could take me back, and Crys said she could take care of y'all. As much as I don't wanna leave y'all she said I should go back and I agree with her, I might even be lucky enough t'get back 'fore my kids hatch.

*eyes widen in surprise at hearing Terra's a gryphon* Oh! Well, um...I'm very happy for him! *smiles* It's important to find togetherness in the Wasteland. At least, that's what Doctor Helpinghoof told me. Not sure if he meant exactly that, but friendship is important, too.

I do know more than one way to make caps.

*He begins walking around the market asking people for a game. His appearance however isn't inspiring trust from anybody, Wars giant guns aren't helping.*

"Ooo... You're going to have to let me look at it closer later on."
He looks back at Guard.
"We're gonna miss ya bud, but I understand. You've got your kids to think about, and you need to be there when they hatch. We got Crys, Willow, and even Nova to help out. Worse comes to worse I'll carry some extra healing potions myself."
He places his hoof on Guard's shoulder.
"You have a safe trip bud, and don't worry about us. We'll be back before you know it."

*runs back to the clinic and gets gear ready to head back*

And I do have a list on pony names, but they're for my fic, which I still need to work on, and it's set before FOE. I do need to practice more though.))
