Watch dogs

So. On May 27 Watchdogs will be released, is someone getting it? You should specify on which platform though. I've already pre-order it on PC.
So, if you think this will work, we can form some sort of crew, who will hack the hell out of everything.

On the fence at the moment. On one hand I've got a full game catalog to get through. Still haven't finished Mass Effect, gotta replay Bastion, just got Transistor, usually on for one bot game of League, mostly on Warframe, still playing Dynasty Warriors 8 XL. Dunno.

I'm gonna wait for reviews and reactions from people.
I'm probably not gonna buy it if it ends up being just a fancy GTA. I've started playing some old RPGs and thinking about getting Transistor, so I'm not in shortage of games to play right now anyway.

I've wanted it for a while now, but I'm not going to buy it right away. Mostly because I wouldn't have the time to play it anyway.

Benefits of this policy:
- avoiding Day1 bullshit (I'm looking at you, Sim City)
- possible decrease in price by the time I get to buy it.

And as I don't intend to play it for the story, I don't care about spoilers.

But what about preorder bonuses? Heh.

Fuck that, people will be able to buy them as DLCs in 6 to 12 months anyway.

Guess I can hold off as well. Might as well. 1st day Downloaders are gonna be clogging up the pipes, and again, I have a huge backlog of games. Not to mention the new ones I got for the 3DS. Chrono Trigger, here I go!

Chrono Trigger for the original DS was -really- good. You should drop everything and play it.

I hope they will allow pre-load before release, otherwise I'll just start download and will go to work...actually, even if they will do pre-releas dowload I'd do that.

That's the game I meant. Not 100% sure how to play it. Just started a bit, then ran into forest instead of the fair at the beginning and fought two sets of mobs. Also, you and Adder are recommending it. So yeah...

Eh, I certainly do. I hate multiplayer.

Well, I don't downright hate multiplayer, but it's not something that'd keep me interested by itself, I always play a game for the plot first and foremost with some possible multiplayer on the side when I feel like it.
That being said, I'm not entirely thrilled by Ubisoft punishing players for switching between online and offline modes (however that's gonna work). Just because I want to play in peace and quiet from time to time doesn't meant I want to lose any potential online progress.
So yeah, smooooooth move, Ubisoft.  

Anyway, keep spoilers in spoilers please.

SK y u do this. Go to the fair. Meet the girl. Farm the giant robot cat and eat the lunch. That totally won't come back to bite you. 
Also, last night Conan reviewed Watch_Dogs. It was interesting.

He has a whole YouTube channel for it. And apparently he shoutcasted a WoW tournament at BlizzCon.

Well, tried out game. It's fun. Was afraid that it will run not smooth enough with my old video card (GeForce GTS 460 1GB), iw as wrong. Waiting for release, so I could see all of content.

I have gamepad, but I prefer keyboard and mouse.

Hm..I wonder is it jsut me or did shooting system felt like it had aim assist?

Well, so far the reviews seem good enough so I might actually buy it, but I'll probably try some torrent first anyway, just to be sure.

Huh, according to a first impressions guy I was watching that's the most interesting part of the game.

Maybe, and eventually I'll get to it, but I like to enjoy my single-player uninterrupted. I'm old-school like that.  
All the big talk lately about merging single and multi-player experience and removing boundaries between the two is not really that appealing to me (especially when players are going to be punished for switching between the two).

EDIT: Also, what one might love, someone else might hate. Preferences are bitchy like that.  

It looked interesting, chasing one another with the same hacking powers sounds cool. The AI smashing into those blocker things I can't imagine is more satisfying than making a human player do it.

Though, I'm not really sure what those losses even mean. I really doubt it resets your character or anything like that. That just sounds stupid, resetting single player progression because you turn off the multiplayer is moronic.

Maybe that's a multiplayer rank? But that kinda hurts the multiplayer if the ranks are skill based.

But it doesn't matter, as you said to each their own and all that.

You loose your MP 'experiance' for failing MP contracts/been hacked.
