Like I would know, I was just checking out the hub page and then found this in the editing team notes, just happened, so theres likely strife on sombers end as well

That happened fucking ages ago.
Basically Somber put in a scene which many, many people disagree with the existence of (The Legate, chapter 54) and it went from standard bullshit anime to FULL ON BULLSHIT ANIME and cranked it from 11 to 99 on the bullshit anime scale.
Snipe complained about it, stood up to Somber and of course, Somber took that criticism as well as always... as in, he eventually threatened to kill himself because people like myself and Snipe were more than willing to be vocal about how bullshit it was.

Snipe then concluded that there's also a whole list of other stuff that he wishes had never made it through and felt he should have spoke up louder about but didn't because of how Somber is.
In the end, it was too much and he left because Somber couldn't hack having someone who isn't a suck-up on the team.

I thought he officially left months ago. Soon after the whole thing with the battle against the Legate happen. Either that's the official official announcement of his departure, or Snipe's been working with them for all this time despite saying he was done with PH.

This is further confirmed by the fact that 54 was posted February 18th 2013 (Source: http://www.fallout-equestria.com/story/2 )
The decision to leave the team was roughly a month after the chapter went up due to the fact it took a while of uproar for Somber to go off the rails about it all to the extremes that he did because (again, people like myself and Snipe) wouldn't let up about the incident.

Actually, no. Why? Because I gave up reading PH before you joined the team. I don't give a fuck any more. I don't even want to see the end any more.
I'm done, I'm finally fucking done and I'm glad to be done.
The inclusion of Dashie was enough to make me glad that I stopped bothering to read because I would have raged hardcore and then I would have held contempt for you as an editor, yes.
But you know what? I don't give a flying fuck what happens now. Project Horizons can burn to the ground for all I care.

Fact is it has played a big role in my life and it meant a hell of a lot to me for a long time. Hell, it kept me alive for some time.
I'm not giving up on the memory of Project Horizons. It's past has been a wonderful one for the most part, even with the later chapters continually spoiling it. The chapters, the parts of the story I loved are still there.
The story isn't the one I began reading however. It's a twisted fucking monstrosity of what it used to be and could have become.
I'm not claiming that I'll never think of it again, that I'll never give a damn about how it used to be. I've just given caring about what happens to it in the future.




So yeah, I hold no contempt for you - but I would have if I had bothered to read the Dashie chapter. And remember, it's not about who you are but the involvement that I would have felt towards.

Just thought I ought to say publicly, I've apologised to Swicked since he told me that he's actually said to Somber that a good few things are bad ideas and it turns out we agreed on some things that threw me off PH for good.
