Fallout Equestria: The Kingdom

Quiver exhales slowly.
"That feels really good, I've been flying so much lately."

Mince yawns and and snuggles into Cast.

He smiles in his sleep.

He opens his eyes.

"..."

"You've been living underground for your whole life, sure you aren't used to fly this much...especially carry someone on your back in same time."
Novae moved to his wings, moving from base, where wing 'attaches' to the body and towards tip of it.

Cast's cheeks are stained with tears and he snorts occasionally in his sleep.

Mince, with all his sneaky skills, tries to move without waking Cast.

Cast's augments pick up the shift in weight and whine loudly, waking the giant in the process. "Hmm?"

Mince nearly falls over as he shuffles away from Cast, "Uh, good morning."

"Flying straight home from 35 was rather strenuous, flying with you on my back for a few minutes wasn't too much of a problem."
He says with a smile, sighing contentedly as she massaged his wings.

Cast's vision is still blurry from being half-awake, making Mince appear as just a blob of color. "Morning?" he says slightly surprised. "Dammit, I did not mean to sleep that long." he says, smacking the forehead of his helmet into his leg.

"Sleeping in isn't that bad. I think it's good for your health, to get extra sleep, no?"

"Yeah, even if I was just in Jayne's grip or on his back for most of the time, I was tired too. I can only image how tired you were."

Door slowly opened and Jayne peeked in. "I won't bother you..." He looked at 'scene'. "...I mean if something happens, I'll be near by...just behind this...tiny wall...Have fun!" He grinned before backing away, closing door behind him.

Cast lets out a bear-like yawn. "Perhaps, but whoever was in charge would have hit me with the butt of a rifle if I didn't get up within a certain time."

"Sleep helped a lot with both my wing fatigue and tiredness, though what you're doing now is much nicer."
He looks at the door.
"I don't think Jayne understands privacy very well."
He says with a chuckle.

"I don't think you need to worry about that here." He says, smiling, "Everythings a bit more lax here then it was back-home, No?"

"Well, he did said he will give us LITTLE more privacy." Novae said with chuckle and proceed to Quiver's sides.

He nods slowly in response. "That is true, if a little unnerving." he says with the slightest hint of sadness.

"You okay?"

"Well, he didn't barge in with his weapon ready this time, so I think that's a start."
Quiver chuckles again.
"I think he's worrying about the 'dirty stuff'."

Cast audibly takes a deep breath. "Truth be told, no, and I haven't been for a while."

"Are you saying we should get a bath or something?" Novae said moving her hooves from Quiver's neck and slowly towards base of his tail.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"I don't know, you said it."
He made a lazy shrug.
"Though we can take baths at Tenpony when we get back there."

"I suppose." he replies slowly. "I've been through a lot, even by wasteland standards, and I've been mostly stern through it all." He clenches his eyes shut and breathes deeply once more. "I act like nothing affects me, but it does. I just put it to the side because I have no time to grieve, I refuse to stop just because my brothers and others close to me died." he says, putting his head on a hoof. He visibly shudders while trying to keep himself collected.

"Well, I did enjoy it's hot shower." Novae move her hoofs along Quvier's spine, then she press them. Soft crunch heard from Quvier's back, where Novae pushed. "How's feeling?"

"It feels good, but I don't know what you just did and that sound was rather strange."
Quiver moves his hind legs slightly and flapped his wings.
"I can still move, so that's a good sign."
He said with a smile.

"Bottling things up has destroyed greater stallions then us, Cast." He says, slowly. He moves over and puts a hoof on his shoulder. "Bad things happen to Good ponies, and vice-versa. I'm not going to tell you it's going to get better, because by all likelyhood, it'll get worse."

He sighs, "But the thing that makes it livable is the ponies around you. We're a social species - no pony survives by themselves for long, they need others to help them."

He gives Cast a light pat, "And we're here for you, Cast."

"Well...you know when you stretch, you can hear similar sounds from your bones...well, at least from what I know, folks feel better from it." Gives Quiver flat look. "And even if you're fancy stable pony, it takes more than this to brake your spine."

Cast clenches his eyes shut and scowls, a single tear runs down both cheeks. "...Thank you."

He hugs Cast, patting him on the back, "There you go, let it out."

"It was a joke, but in all seriousness, pegasi do have significantly weaker bones than earth or unicorn ponies, and probably zebras too."
He shakes his head.
"I may be a 'Fancy Stable Pony', but that shouldn't affect my bones."
