The robot makes another whining beep.
Oh hush, you. You haven't even done anything.

"What, you just snipe people for a living?"

"I suppose killing is just a normal thing in this world. It was a pretty big deal when someone killed in my Stable."

"So, you don't usually get in fights? They're, uh, usually dead before they get to you?"

He points his hoof to his collar.
"Sixteen. Not too far away, flew here from there."

"True, but I could come with you, hack terminals, help scavenge. Then I get shot at less. Besides..." He gestures to the Vault pony, "You'll need help with him, I've hung around with vault dwellers before."

"Not exactly, the Overmare asked for one of the pegasi in the Stable to take a look outside. The mission was entirely voluntary, and limited to the several dozen pegasi in the Stable. I went, took a look around, and reported back. The Overmare decided that the Stable would remain closed, due to the large concentrations of mutated insects in the region. Ants, I think. I asked if I could leave to explore further. She gave me most of what I have with me, and said I could return whenever I had to or wanted to, on the condition I tell nopony where the Stable is."

"I could sneak past you if I wanted to." He shrugs, "The same reason you're trusting the Stable Pony, because we're harmless."

"It is nice to meet you as well. My name is Quiver."
*Quiver extends his hoof for a shake*

The ponitron sits and makes a sound like a dog panting excitedly. A small slot off to the lower side of its head opens up as it reaches to grab the ruby, and pops it in.
Oh, well thank you then. By the way, I'm Dr. Octo, and this is Crusher.

"Ahuh, so you're just going to let him wander the wastes on his own, eh?" He looks Quiver up and down, "He stands a BIT of a better chance with those wings, buuut..."

"I came out here to explore. I've avoided trouble so far and..."
He taps the SMG stowed on his side.
"...I at least have something to defend myself with."

He looks back and forth between the two, "Okay, now I'm curious."

"Well, I suppose some things don't change much between up here and down home."

"I could say it for you." He nudges him, "S'bout that pretty mare, ain't it?"

Oh, well, I'm not a doctor like medical help, I'm a doctor like PhD. Nice to meet you Viktor.
A confirmatory beep is sounded off from the robot as well.
