((Yea, my plan for her when she's coming back is she walks into the house when only Terra's there or something, all beat up and with a few broken limbs, asking her mom where her dad's clinic is cause she kinda forgot. Now, how should we start this? Someone's birthday, perhaps? Maybe the anniversary of the founding of the town?))

Iffin figured he'd be the overprotective type so she didn't want to tell him for fear of what he'd do to Runner.
And then Guard goes and totally dismisses those fears as juvenile even though he had just tried to ground his fully grown, legal adult daughter.))

Iffin, Azure, and Isaac sit in front of a make-shift stage, complete with ragged red curtain with holes in it.

Nova, looking considerably older after only five years, comes through it.

"Behold, children, my latest invention! The Hat-spectrometer!"

He pulls back the curtain to reveal a toaster tied to a hat-rack.

"What do you think?"

((Ready.))

(( This is going off of my head-canon that the three Griffin kids are the only ones not scared of the myths of "Old-man Nova's cave" ))

Rouge tilts her head.
"Um...uncle Nova, why is toaster tied up to hat-rack?"

((I guess I'm ready. Not sure whet I'm going to do just yet. I'll probably find a spot to pop in.

He giggles happily to himself at the question. "It's the next big thing in hat-technology! Behold!" He places a piece of bread in the toaster. "Thanks to my machine, you can make anything into a hat!" Burnt toast pops out of the toaster, and Nova puts it on his head. "Tada! Now you can make anything into a hat - as long as it fits in a toaster."
