"She's not huantin' me. She's helpin' me out, Last...Died. I was feelin' terrible then she showed up and has been helpin' me cope."
He places his new books into his saddle bags and closes them and see's Mav.
"Do y' happen t' have the Admiral's hat by any chance?"

"Last is gone, haven't bumped into him yet...then again he strikes me as the kind of pony to...dance with th stars..."

Rum taps a hoof to his chin, "Tell me he was wearing the power armor I gave him, and the it was recovered, it is rather rare you know."

"Oh good you do have it! thanks mate"

He holds out a hoof, "but you got it wrinkled..."

*sees pony-shaped flickering near Guard*
*shakes his head* I'm starting seeing things...
*looks at Rum*

Guard sighs as he finishes checking all the gear in his room.

*sees Guard packing up*

"Well thats a bother, what are you packing for anyway? Looks like you're all going out for some hurt, and what happened to Sycto? I've tried haunting him, but I can't seem to find him anywhere..."

"Oh and Maverick, if you're seeing things, try not to look too hard at them otherwise you'll miss them all!"

[Guest]

"Yup, get yer gear ready. Ms.Gawd wants us in Shatterhoof two days ago she's got a job and no one's stayin' behind everyone's comin' even Terra and the kids, no exceptions. We're leavin' in the mornin' so take care of whatever y' need t'."
Guard turns to the Admiral
"Scyto's dead. And we got orders so I'm just gettin' ready for anythin'.'

Ms. Gawd...like Gawdyna Grimfeathers? *taps his front hooves* And I can't decline offer...right? *forced grin*
Back, when I was younger, I...*cough* I have a fight with Gawd because of contract. I was a merc for a while, you know. And. We have different objectives on same target.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

((OH MY GOD! i did not realize it was 330 am right now... I uuuh have to go on last thing))

"Maverick, could you please, please keep a hold of that hat for me, my sister will be looking for it as soon as she finds out you have it."

With that, Rum passes right trough Maverick, leaving this tingling sensation behind, then quite suddenly a sharp pop on Mavericks flank, like somepony popped him with a tail, but its like Rum just faded.

[Guest]

"That's the one, and yeah can't decline. Wish we had more time but what can y' do. So just get yer stuff ready."
He looks out the window
"Looks like the sun's 'bout t' set so we still got a little while."

Isaac wakes up and 'caws'

"Hey little guy yer up early."He floats Isaac onto his back and looks at Mav."I'm gonna watch the sunset on the roof with Isaac I'll be back down in a bit."
Guard walks out his room and to the elevator.

[Katarn]

Sure. I can hold your hat for a while.
*shivers as Rum passes through him*
*fallows Guard out from suite*
I could watch sunset with you two. If you want. Didn't have some peaceful moments for a while.

"If y' want t' go for it, just don't mind my crazy for a bit."
Guard rides in the elevator up to the MAS hub and walks up to roof.
"Alright lil'guy we're gonna watch Luna raise her moon int' the sky."
He sits down and tucks Isaac behind his forelegs leaving a gap for Isaac to stick his head out.

Isaac stick his head out, watches the sky and 'caws'.

He stares at the darkening sky.
"Well mama, I have feelin' this gonna make some folks upset."

She sits down next to Whisper and ruffles Isaac's feathers.
"Whispy, you know you don't have a choice. A contract's a contract you should know that."

"I know, mama. I just hope the others understand." He looks down at Isaac and smiles

"Just explain what's going on. I'm sure they'll understand." continues to play with Isaac and smiles when he looks at her.

Isaac looks at Cherry, smiles and 'caws'

"Yeah, just gotta talk t' them."Guard sighs as looks back at the sky.

"Whispy, if your feeling bad about what happened with your friend, Midnite. Don't, neither of you did anything wrong. He needed to stay with his family."She looks at Isaac"Just like you need to stay with yours."

"I know, mama. He's still my friend, I'm not mad. It's just so sudden it's a lot t' process."

"Then don't. Just take everything one step at a time, sweetie. And if you need help your friends will always be by your side. And if all else fails you'll always have Terra, Crystal, and myself for whenever you feel down." She smiles and rubs his back.

"Alright mama, I'll just tackle things as they come."
All three of them watch Luna's moon rise into the night sky and at the moment everything in the wasteland seemed to stop as all of Equestria became silent and tranquil. As the moment ended the tiro walked back to their suite and relaxed.

*as Guard started talking to 'himself' Mav moved away, so he won't interfere.*
*looks at sun. He remembers his wife* *sigh* *w*I wish you could be by my side right now, darling. I'm sorry, that I left you and Heart, but it was right thing to do. And..I'm sorry I wasn't there, when you...*tears start gathering in his eyes*I'm sorry...I promise, that I won't fail our daughter.*w*
*Mav keep sitting on the roof, even after Guard left. He sit there, thinking about everything. It was past few hours, when he went back inside Tenpony, just to pack his things and catch some sleep, before long trip*

((I just remembered that Moody's been carrying all the weapons he looted from the slavers. Haven't had a chance to sell them yet.))
Moody works well into the night, repairing armor and cleaning weapons.

"Who's gun is this!?!? Barrels nearly full of dirt and grime!"

None of the guards say anything but stays far away from him. Well past midnight he stops working and makes his way back to the rooms.

"Tell Long Shot I'll get the rest later. Maybe tomorrow."

He enters the room and flops down on the bed, falling asleep nearly instantly.

((No Moody isn't going to be happy to find out we're leaving this soon, but he also knows a contracts a contract and a jobs a job. Not like he's not ready to move half the time anyways.))

Guard tucks Isaac back into bed and finishes preparing Terra's gear.
"Alright, let's get this over with"
He walks out of his room and knocks on Aon's door.
"Hey Aon, I need t' talk t' y'."

Guard turns to Aon.
"Get yer gear ready, Gawd's got a job for us in Shatterhoof. We're leavin' in the mornin'."

Right... Summoned by Gawd... I assume there's no getting out of this?

"I was just told Gawd wants t' give us mission personally and that's all I was told. So get done whatever y' need t' get some sleep and be ready t'go. Make sure y' get down t' the lobby after sunrise Bast is seein' us off."

Wait... Bast isn't coming?

Guard shakes his head
"Nope, he wants t' stay here with Hope and his other friends. I'm not takin' him away from them. Sorry y' find out this way but nothin' I can do 'bout it. We got orders and I plan on followin' them."

*trots up behind Guard* Well, it seems he found Happiness, not like it's fair for us to take that away from him.
