((In an rp, my character developed to a point where he ascended material form, I was basically retiring him, but everyone brought me back... I kid you not....I placed restrictions on him and such but refused to have him directly influence the course of things unless he was the primary target of an event....))

((perhaps I mis instructed... that character, I tried to kill off, they then forced it back into its original body but it still retained its higher fucntions albeit only if it were to up its physical form away from being physical... then the bloody character I realized was far too strong to be of any kind of use in fair play so i never directly used it to actually fight or directly influence the freaking roleplay... until that character became the center of an event, which it was not in control of, and consequently got me hooked on Sandman by Neil Gaiman. I basically "tricked" the adversary into breaking the "rules" of the Ascended and it was cast into the abyss, and I triggered the event of the world being destroyed by the Furies... had to trade the Twilight Dagger (a reality controlling superweapon device) to Dream in order to Rescue the main cast but they were rest in the new world the other GM and i made. Also I left that OP ass hole in the Dreaming))
