Steam Group Game Night June 6: Trouble in Terrorist Town

Kay, so, last time we played TTT we realized that while it's fun it would be way more fun if we had 8 or more people since that's when the gamemode makes two traitors and one detective. To do that, I'm gonna ask everyone who can show up friday night to, well, commit to it and say you're gonna be there to play this game specifically. I usually leave it up in the air, as it was in the time of Moody, because without knowing how many people show up we can't know what games we can play. This though could be the start of something different, so please post and don't mind that I totally should have made this thread in the morning instead of real late this thursday.

I'll see about making it because I really, REALLY want to play TTT. Unfortunately, I am currently in an area with shit Internet, and I don't remember if I have gmod already installed on my laptop.

29 in the steam group. There are plenty of people in the steam group who only show up occasionally, but still.

I'll gladly hop on and play TTT tomorow night. Thats one of my favorite games on gmod.

Usually they'll download automatically. Other than that, most TTT Mao's are from counter strike source, so if you have that installed you have them already.

There are lots of things that Garry mode uses from Half Life 2, if you don't own Half Life 2 CS source is normally cheap and works the same, it's just the assets from the game you need.

You'll only need gmod. Counter strike just makes it easier by having most of the maps meshes and textures already there. You won't have to download as much.

Okay, Gary's Mod is all I have purchased, it is now installing.

Alright, I already have gmod on my laptop as well as CS, so that's good. But there's still the issue of the bad internet. If I do make it in, I'll probably be lagging all over the place.

Last we played (or I played anyway) you straight up said you were it...that's provably got something to do with it.

Yeah but he'll also attack you right away if he's near you at the start.

Well, we're probably going to "start" at 8:30 like usual, but depending on how early or late everyone shows up it might be a bit of a wait. Nothing stopping everyone from just joining the teamspeak right now, though. I'm on right now, I guess.

I'd he happy to play gmid with you if you want to play sometime. I got my friends to update his server, so it should be up soon as well. We don't play GMod much anymore, so I'd be glad to play.

Coming up with little scenarios for TTT was really fun, like the "safety turtle", and trying to order a drink from the bartender, only to get exploded.

By the time I finally got loaded in and was able to play, you all left to play tf2...  

Ah well, better luck next time. We should try Gmod Murder.
