FoE: RP The Infinity

The Infinity isn't a place, and it technically isn't a thing. It's an idea. Mind though, an idea that can be interacted with. It's not supposed to make sense. That's the only reason it works. It can't be mapped, only felt. It has no physical presence, but once inside it never ends. Because of this it doesn't exist in one specific place. It's omnipresent. Entry is simple, you need only want to be there.

The Infinity is an artificial construct. Who or what built it is unknown to all. The only one that may have any answers is the Infinity's Captain. A well groomed, non-descript earth pony with a dark brown coat and a cropped black mane. He doesn't have a name, at least none that he gives to guest's. He's the Infinity's commander, custodian, and protector. He's not to be trifled with. His will is the Infinity's, and the Infinity's his.

"Greetings, I am the Captain, and welcome to the Infinity."



((Okay, I figured we needed something like this. This is an RP dedicated to allowing us to use our favorite characters from seasons 1, 2, and 3. I would recommend that your characters act as though they've been plucked from the timeline in their prime. They shouldn't have any knowledge beyond their personal timelines. (I.E. If Cherry and Shadow enter from their time in S3 and meet Whisper from S1, they shouldn't know who he is.)

We'll be going with the general rules we've been using for RP's up to this point.

If you have any questions about the Infinity direct them to the Captain, he's quite friendly.

When you leave or enter you must do so through the atrium (which is where you will often find the Captain)

((I might as well be the first to start things off.))

Clock entered the Atrium. She wasn't sure how she got here, but she was pleasantly surprised by what she found. It looked like an upscale hotel. On par, if not surpassing, Tenpony. She inspected a vase filled with roses. The vase was new. The flowers freshly cut. She nibbled a petal. Her mouth was filled with a perfumed flavor.

A voice reverberated through the room, "If you're hungry, you'll find the kitchen to be stocked with whatever you desire."

Clock jumped. She turned toward the source of the voice and saw a dark brown stallion with a short black mane and was wearing a fancy dress jacket. He definitely hadn't been standing there a second ago.

"W-who are you? What is this place."


The stallion exuded an aura of calm, "This place is The Infinity, and I am it's caretaker. You may call me Captain."

Clock was cautious, but the strange stallion seemed friendly enough, "Alright... Captain. Where am I?"

"Everywhere."

"Okaaaay. What day is it?"

"All of them."

"Right... Are you feeling okay? Shortness of breath? Light headedness? Have you been drinking enough clean water?"

"I am in good health, thank you for your concern. As for our water it is chemically pure. Minerals will be automatically added in similar quantities to samples from your place of origin for that little taste of home."

((As long as it's an FoE Character. This RP is dedicated to the characters of the previous seasons of RP's. If you could please try to keep to the established story that would be great. And if you could use the double parentheses it would be appreciated.))

[Why double parentheses? I use brackets everywhere else for OOC. I don't see what the problem is. I see people use both. And I don't know what you mean by "previous seasons".]

Aonee let out an 'oof' as he fell onto the floor in a high-tech looking suit of armor. "What the-where am I?"

((Because that's what we're used to on Cloudsville. When you use double parentheses you're saying that it isn't part of the RP. We use brackets to declare things like skips in time or that the shops are open. That sort of thing. I don't mean to seem like a hardass, but I'm just trying to keep it enjoyable for everyone involved.

By previous seasons I mean the other RP's that some of us have participated in. We call them seasons because they're all in the same universe, and some of the characters from one season are the parents or children from another season.))

((You're free to join. We just ask that you have a good backstory for your character. One that fits with the general FoE universe. He or she can be from any period from after the bombs falling to post FoE. Believe me, we've got all kinds.))

((Alright, he's a non-feral glowing one who was turned trying to escape his stable. The outside was flooded with lethal radiation after a bomb struck the entrance. He's a scientist, one of the ones who had a small hoof in the bomb-making, named Cold Fusion, but he goes by Chernobyl now. He wears a hazmat suit to keep his radiation in instead of out. The pony walked into the atrium, looking around at the other ponies from behind the black tinted visor of his suit. He said nothing, though a soft green glow could be seen from within the visor, if one looked closely. Slowly, he turned and spoke his thoughts aloud in his deep voice. "So..... I wonder which one of these ponies dragged me out of the wastes?" Despite the low volume he spoke at, his voice echoed around the room. He looked over at the stallion with the sunglasses, tilting his head. "Are you the one who pulled me from the wasteland?"

"That... sounds way too easy." Mince pipes up, "Are you sure this isn't a 'You're dead!' scenario?"

A heavy crash resounded throughout the room as a massive black unicorn fell unceremoniously on his back, and metal heavily clanged against the floor. "Scheißkerl!" Cast rumbled with surprise. The soft hissing of hydraulics and the whirring of servos could be heard as the giant attempted to right himself.

((That's German for "Motherfucker!"))

The pony chuckled, his laughter echoing over and over again. "Unless you have a room with lead-lined walls, then I can't take off this suit. Nice thought, but I'd rather not endanger everypony else here because I wanted to eat dinner."

The pony tilted his head, seeming unsure. "And how exactly do you have the ability to tear down the walls, line them with lead plates, then put them back up again in one night?"

"And how would you know that it would be needed before just now?"

Cast rolled onto his side with a grunt, and then stood up to his full height. He wore a rather grim expression as he looked around the strange atrium, he had never seen anything this fancy. It was alien, almost disturbing. Suddenly, it registered in his mind that he was not where he should be. "Why am I not surprised..." He muttered to himself. His voice held a thick Germane accent, and seemed to come from the throat.
