im a new shy brony   im not sure how my friends and family will react , but atleast im glad theres a site where can be open about being a brony     i want to tell my friends and famly but im not sure theyll be happy   what do u think:um:

well im surrounded by people who would shun me for who i am. if i tell them, im afraid they will just shun or make fun of me if i tell them im a brony   last time some1 was a brony in my school, they had a bloody nose and the word gay (pardon my language) on theyre locker, im afraid that will happen to me if i tell them . and its bad at home too he confiscated my ipod because i told him i was a brony.  i apoligize for my down attitude, its just my pet snake died yesterday. do you think i should just tell them

Should you get bullied for enjoying watching a cartoon ? I would say the answer is obvious : no.

You don't -have- to tell people, you know ? At least not if it warrant possible threats to your well being.

Well, here's a free one : you don't have to tell anyone about your center of interests if you think this might hurt your social life. If you have centers of interest that no one around you share, the internet is for that.

Simply do not get caught in these center of interests so much as to lose contacts from those around you. They're here too.

I don't know the particular of the situation, and I'm a complete stranger. So you shouldn't trust me. But there's one thing that I'll say :

Stand for yourself. Be strong on your own. Do not let yourself be brought down by what others may think of you. But never forget that you need them.

My friends didn't care-- it's just something I watch on occasion, and I have a reputation for being a little eccentric. But you might be too young to have the "Well fuck 'em" attitude. I'd go with Harmony's advice. You don't have to tell them anything.

I would suggest going with Harmony's advice. I have the whole "don't give a shit" attitude, but that isn't something that is right for everyone. Either way, welcome to Cloudsville.

First of all, hello and welcome to Cloudsville! Yeah we're a little bit... lets face it insane here, but we're good people most of the time. Closest things to flames wars we have are heated debates and that's mostly in the Project Horizons discussion thread.

Hope to see you around, don't feel bad if there are certain parts of the site you're not active in, and all in all try to enjoy yourself.

Outside of My Little Pony in general a majority of us are here to talk about various Fallout Equestria based fanfics, have a few RPs going, and are active gamers. Got a minecraft server going, an active World of Tanks group I believe, and a group on Steam.

All in all, once again glad to have you and remember, we're here for you. Even if it's nothing more then to listen to your problems. I strongly believe that sometimes people just need to vent so I do my best to listen. The others are better at giving advice though.
