Because I'm a terrible person, I'm gonna say it's not bad, BUT you have to get a better hold of some of the anatomy elements.
Here's a few tutorials and anatomy studies that helped me (I hope).

Well, it's not failure, though people tend to see it that way when something is much worse than something else. But people are weird.swicked wrote:Eh... And it's kinda weird that some people find it so creepy. In all honesty I have never seen it that way... at least not this picture. Some others the guy has done, sure. But I guess I generally just have a bad habit of thinking stuff will mean the same to others as it means to me.
And I don't find that particular picture that much creepy, only the stuff I have connected with it from the tumblr. :D
