A few questions

Okay, I have a few questions to ask about another FF I'm planning (yes, I know I'm still working on my other one :P )

1) Is anyone interested in it based off of this description:

I'd read it. I do think it'd need a mature rating but that depends on the site you put it on. How would you do it? Only canon & fanon, some OCs, or pure OCs?

It would involve canon characters, but the main cast will be OC.

What would the point of view be?

It actually switches. For the most part, it will be from OC POV, but as of what I have planned out right now, there will be a few segments of POV from canon characters.

Sounds good, I agree Mature rating should be there, though unless you are very graphic about it, it might not be needed, it all depends. If anything a violence warning is in order. Sadly as I said yesterday fanfiction isn't my favorite content so i probably won't read it, but it still sounds good.

Though I warn you mixing Romance and Adventure can be tough and you don't want to put too much or too little stress on the romance part as it can ruin the entire story if you do.

Indeed, I will be dealing with the romance delicately. It will probably be the hardest part for me, but I like a challenge

I meant like 1st person, 3rd person limited, 3rd person omniscient?

To mix adventure and romance wouldn't it be that two of them fall in love. So whenever the other is in danger, he/she tries their best to protect him/her?

Oh, right lol. It will be 3rd person and limited to whoever the POV is at that time.

Right now, it is somewhat like that.

But this is often what you will be trying to avoid, it makes the romance development really predictable and and it's sort of cliche.

not saying its not something that can be done, but if every time there was any danger one was like "I'LL SAVE YOU *heroic music*" then it wouldn't be too interesting lol.

Of course you wouldn't do it every time. But that's the basis of it. I'd say the best way to do it is be as creative as possible even with the cliches. Or make them fail. Romance allows you to bring in a lot more emotions than without it. That would be the main point of having it, am I correct?

I would assume so, unless you wanted the reader to start clopping, which isn't a good reaction at all!

I'm good at cliche, it defines any relationship I have in the real world lol


And yes, that is the true purpose behind having it. Romance definitely does a great job of making emotions stronger during the story, and makes it seem more human, at least to me.

And if losers start clopping let them, they don't need to appreciate your work, they aren't worthy of it anyway.

As long as it's got a good plot, don't be afraid to get into hinting the action. Don't focus on it though, that's when it turns bad.

Don't know how many stories I've read that have been ruined by focusing on that and ignoring plot...

And I know a story that has a great plot, focuses on a relationship between Vinyl and Octavia, and includes hinting the action.

Was that Allegrazza, Two's Company, or another one? (I just named the big two :P I haven't read a Tavi-Vinyl fic in a while)

First one. I gotta catch up on it though. The biggest problem I predict will be putting it into the story in a way that advances the plot.

Ya, I think I've got it planned out a little, so that it won't freeze the story to have romantic parts, hopefully I can keep it that way :P

Perhaps some suggestion couldn't hurt...I just need to find a spot to fit it where it won't look rediculous :P

Location and situation. Force it in and it becomes a side note which jars the reader out of the story.
