I didn't believe this "news" for a second. It was presented in such a way that it was obviously a joke, but also in a way that would present possible damage to existing stories. (As usual, the rule was not to be applied retroactively.)

It was a poor joke, and if it hadn't been a joke it could have affected me, as I almost exclusively produce HiE stories. (Some of you have read my only semi-decent one or had the misfortune of reading my old ones.) Although, considering that it was not to be applied retroactively and I have no plans at present to make any other HiE stories, I wouldn't have been too badly hit by it, supposing it were true.

However, it'd be completely against my views to support such a course of action, of course. Fimfiction's joke last year - with the G1 name script and comic sans font - was far better and caused less "damage."

Well, I think this thread's outlived it's purpose. Can somebody please lock it?
