I really have to admire the bold step they took from this one; after producing years of cheap, poorly-thought out formulaic blockbusters, stretching into metafictional thought-pieces is definitely ballsy. I mean--the park-goers expect to see some cool dinosaurs, and it ends up being a clusterfuck. In much the same fashion, the movie-goers expect to see some cool dinosaurs, and it ends up being a clusterfuck. Bridging the gap between reality and fiction, forcing the audience to ask themselves the big questions like "why did I expect that would be any better?", and making them examine their place in the world and making them wonder why the hell they give a shit about dinosaurs anyway--it's some genius work. Hats off to all involved.

Bought and am now playing Crypt of the Necrodancer, because it's fun and on sale at the moment. I decided to try out the game's custom music feature and loaded up some neat songs. This one and this classic, specifically. It, uh, made the game a lot harder.

Why did he bother with that date ap in the first place? He could have just made her absurdly attracted to him instantly and skipped all the foreplay.

Regarding the second point, I assume that control isn't that fine. It may only control movement, not thoughts or feelings at all. That runs into the first point, though, and I'm not sure why it would have that capability either.

Anyone play Valkyria chronicles? I started playing it yesterday, so far it's a pretty fun tactical RPG but the one complaint I have is there are episodes (a lot of them) that have no combat.

There are even episodes that are only cutscenes that are optional. I don't really get the point seeing as it was sandwiched between two other episodes that were just cutscenes.
