What are y'all's methods of exercising, and how often do ya actually do it? Thought came to me when I saw Ryx's Steam activity showing "Exercising".

Personally could do more, but still want to fit in game time. About 1/2 to 1 hour of Stepmania on a pad daily for me. Some days I go do marathon songs on an easier difficulty, others I do intense songs with ~4-5 notes a second. Used to do P90x, but siblings kinda took over the only place in the house I could do the exercise regiment. That and it takes ~2 hours to do daily. Maybe get back into it this summer.

I don't exercise much on account of a skin condition and a general lack of energy, but when I do I make one or two laps around my mobile home park. I'm still relatively fit despite that, I just can't run much.

On the rare occasions that I actually do exercise, it's usually running, push ups, crunches, or swimming.

Granted farm work keeps me active enough that most people would probably consider it exercise. Putting up the temporary electric fences usually consist of me walking over a mile over uneven ground while toting spools of wire behind my back that gradually get's lighter as it rolls out.
But of course that isn't a daily thing so probably doesn't help much.

Honestly the best shape I was in was when we still had hogs. Having to load and pour out four to eight five gallon buckets of corn daily as feed. Chasing down the sows when we had to load them up before they had pigs which was every other week. Every three weeks having to chase, catch, and hold pigs ranging between 10 to nearly 30 pounds as we clip their tails and castrated them.

Sorry was reminiscing. Anyways, these days I've been trying to get in better shape by alternating between push ups and sit ups first thing in the morning and right before bed at night every other day and 15 minute jogs around the farm. I'm not trying to get super fit, just maybe slim down some, tone what little muscles I have, and build my endurance up.
I may be stuck at 190 lbs, but maybe I can look better without a gut.

Strangely enough, exercise has an immediate effect on me. Should I skip too many of these, allergies will flare up and clog one of my nostrils. It's kinda wierd, since laying on my side will result in the nostril closest to the ground clogging, and will reverse if I lay on my other side, like some wierd boulder. I find that exercising reduces the clog. Sister (learning to be a doc) says allergy causes pressure to build up in the upper nostril, and that exercising reduces the pressure. Now that I think of it, I don't remember if she actually said that or if I'm imagining things again.

Exercising is fun for me, but unfortunately no one else seems to exercise around the same time as my schedule. 'tis why I went and bought myself a cobalt flux in the first place.

Have any one of you tried Shadowrun Returns? If answer is 'no' - I'd recommend you try it.
How I'd describe it? Image cyber-punk mate with fantasy. Offspring would be Shadowrun Returns.
Interesting dialogues, nice visual side of game, not bad combat.

Usually, I don't. I swim, but ever since I found out that I could meet my gym requirement way back in high school by doing yoga, I've grown more and more accepting of the inevitability of heart disease.

I have some dumbbells I keep by my desk and start lifting when I'm waiting for games to load/my comp to start up. I'll do other things like squats or push-ups while I'm waiting too.

I'm somewhere in between "opposites attract" and "clonecest". I've found that I connect best with people with whom I share plenty of interests and personality traits, but are still distinct enough from that our relationship remains fresh and dynamic.
