Wow, I knew the rate was higher, but that's much worse than I had thought.

Two issues I have with that article are the bullet points. If there talking about America it's not uncommon for civilians to own guns and the other was the police offficers knowing where the battered woman shelters are.

Everyone on my bus back in elementary school knows where the battered woman shelter is, we passed by it everyday. It's not the underground railroad.

Not saying that it's not worse to be abused by a police officer, they could know the people that will be arresting them. That alone is shady. But those two points seem misleading to me.

I know we've discussed military guys with badass names quite a few times here. Now we can add a foreign example to that: just a minute ago I bumped into one of the German guys currently on-post (I believe their unit is testing some high-speed shit at the missile range at White Sands. Can't be sure, though), an E-5-equivalent named "Faust."  Doesn't sound all that impressive until you realize that, to his buddies, the man's name is "Sergeant Fist."

This is just what I can think of off the top of my head, but I think it comes down to what people define as abnormal and unacceptable on an individual level. A lot of people have their own definitions for a lot of words based on their own opinions. Even if we were all perverts, people would find something to take issue with, even if that stuff was normal by definition.

The cube hanging from N's belt is a sliding puzzle similar to a Void Cube, and has been in his possession since childhood. It's one of many design elements reflecting the character's mathematical motif, and also resembles the first iteration of a Menger sponge, a geometric figure that simultaneously has infinite surface area and zero volume.
