An odd calm comes over Clocks voice, "It's an old punishment. I'm not sure who invented it, but I want to say it was the Minotaurs. They used it instead of the death penalty, so the offender could still work. In your case you'll probably starve to death. It's a very simple procedure. Would you like to know what it is?"

I wonder what will kill you first. If we do it right it won't be blood loss. Maybe you'll dehydrate. Maybe one of the wasteland critters will find you; defenseless. I hope it's the thirst. Clock looks at them with cold eyes, "We do not need his help. He is not a doctor. He is a monster. And I will not come crawling back to him. We don't know how many other people he's done this to. We are the only ones who know about his crimes. If we hadn't come when we did that little girl would have eaten her own mother because HE cursed her. Look me in the eye and tell me he deserves to live."

"Nothing. Nothing is keeping that promise. But this is how it works. Tell us nothing and Viktor breaks all your legs and we dump you in the middle of nowhere. Tell us a little and he breaks three legs. Tell us more, two. Tell us everything and he'll break one. Lie, or be a smart-ass again and... well that takes a little explaining."

"You see, before the war Hellhounds looked a lot like Viktor; minus the cybernetics of course. On one occasion I did see him speaking to one. I'm sure they won't question the promise of free food in their own tongue."
