Been listening to a collab album of Sunn O))) and Boris, called "Altar." Etna is dark, epic, and chilling; The Sinking Belle (Blue Sheep) is just chill. Both are pretty great songs, try the first out if you like drone and the second if you're just in the mood for some relaxing, quiet, weirdly catchy music.

I like this. It reminds me of the later 2 Paper Mario games' boss music in a way, though this piece is slower in pace.

Hmm, that is good. Radiarc sure does makes some cool stuff.

Anyway, come March, that's what I'll be listening to. Right now, I'm listening to Neurosis' The Eye of Every Storm. It's nice. Post-metal, with plenty of the sludge that they are masters of, too.

Sooooo, one of my favorite black metal guys (James Kelly, he does Altar of Plagues - "White Tomb" is often my favorite album; the production and guitars and atmosphere and vocals are just perfect) has apparently done a side project in the... uh, I-don't-know genre. Electronic something. Reminds me of Ulver. It's called "Wife." The song "Bodies" off the first EP has a somewhat disturbing music video. It's not like hyperviolent or gory, it's just... off-putting and ritualistic. Anyway, I'm liking it! Also been listening to WoodenToaster, because this song has a nice tune. Still getting in some Neurosis, Baroness, and Mastodon in preparation for the new Cult of Luna album (called "Vertikal") coming out soon.

I noticed that the New Canterlonian Symphony was removed from Soundcloud, and I couldn't find it anywhere. I did find it here on Youtube, with a link to Unity of Factors, who was dj-alicaster on Soundcloud.

I think it's the same, a bit less 'whumpf' to it perhaps, if you know what I mean. I love it.

Yeah, I'm seeing it. Bass seems a little quieter in this one, at least to me.
