This gave me the heartiest of chuckles. TL;DR the Lizard Squad's pay-for-DDOS service got hacked (counter-hacked?) and the unencrypted usernames and passwords of the people who signed up for said service were acquired by those responsible for the hack.

Given that all the information the users posted (for the sake of cheating at games and generally being dicks to other users) was barely a step shy of public already and being used to support illegal activity, I don't think anyone's really criticizing the counter-hackers responsible.

I should say not; kinda doubt anyone's going to be digging too hard to find out who hit the Lizard Squad and their clients. Does make me wonder about whether or not the authorities could actually use the data that got mined, since it's not been legally acquired. Still funny, though.

At one point over the course of a 5,000 word mass-punishment essay in Basic, my Drill Sergeant failed to notice that mine was roughly twenty percent about maintaining one's living quarters and following instructions meticulously (the given subject matter) roughly fifty percent at-best-tangientally-related summations of erxcepts of the writings and orations of Cicero, and the remainder being utterly unrelated sections lifted wholesale from The Saga of Ragnar Lodbrök
