"Who knows, Search. Almost all inhabitants of wasteland were descendants of those, who couldn't get shelter at Stables. And they survived. So...maybe there is still hope. Pinnacle doing it, more likely, as 'vengeance' toward those, who survived...Search. Do you think we could find any trace of his family, if they survived..or some of them?"

[Orm]

"I don't know, Novae. The wasteland is a big place, and finding someone who's related to someone who lived 200 years ago would be too difficult."

[Katarn]

"True. Maybe not look for it on purpose, but just paying attention or asking folks, where we'd be. Maybe we'll find something." Nudges Search and smiles. "Maybe find out about your family."

[Orm]

"The last time I talked to them, I told them to get to a stable. If we find out which one, I wouldn't mind waiting for it to open to see my grand kids."Searchlight looks down at his hooves and sighs. "Or maybe it would be better if I just didn't bother. Pretty sure they wouldn't want anything to do with their half-rotted grand dad."

[Katarn]

"So..you don't remember which Stable was that? Well, considering your state.."Snaps. "Um..sorry, didn't mean to offend you."

[Orm]

"It's alright, at least you were nicer than Officer Friendly there." He says as he points to the guard at the gate of the tower.

[Katarn]

"I've got used to something like this. He's just doing his job." Novae looks at Search, deciding something.

[Orm]

Searchlight notices Novae looking at him. "Why are you looking at me like that? Did my other ear fall off?"

[Katarn]

Giggle. "No." She smiled and moves closer. "Don't mind those, who judge by how you look. What's important is what you do." Novae wrapped her hooves around Search and gave him a light hug.

[Orm]

Searchlight just stared at Novae, unsure of how to react to the zebra suddenly hugging him. After some time he smiles and returns the hug.

[Katarn]

"I've just want you to feel like a pony, not just alive." Releases her hug and look at her hooves. "I hope that ear of yours didn't got stuck on me." Novae smiled at Search.

[Orm]

Searchlight takes off his hat, showing that his left ear is missing. "Is the right one still there?" He asks Novae.

[Katarn]

"Yup. And..I was joking."

[Orm]

"I know. But still I'd like to make sure I at least still have 1 ear." He said as he put his hat back on.

[Katarn]

"Mind if I'll ask awkward question?"

[Orm]

"Uh... Sure go ahead."

[Katarn]

"Well..aren't ghoul been healed by radiation. If you just...well..roll in some radioactive waste, wouldn't it regenerate your ear back?"

[Orm]

"I don't think it works like that. Honestly, I have no idea how it works really."

[Katarn]

"Well, you could try doing it, if you want..though it would be important not over do it...or you might become glowing one...I guess that's how ghouls become glowing..on good side, you'll be able to read in the dark." Novae smiles.

[Orm]

"Yeah, I guess everything has a bright side doesn't it. But it would take a lot of radiation for that to happen."

[Katarn]

"Yeah..and I guess you'll have to stay away from others, till radiation fade away from you."

[Orm]

"Yeah, it's not exactly the best thing to have when in a group."

The group came to a rest across the street from the stadium, taking cover in the lobby of a somewhat stable skyscraper to overlook the situation.
The Stadium entrance is heavily guarded by a pair of armored griffins, both watching intently as a unicorn sat behind them twirling a rusted coin in his magic - the gatekeeper/greeter.

The group can't see anything beyond the gate.

"So, anyone got a plan?" Eve says to no-one in particular.

[Guest]

"We could attempt ta get some sleep and wait fer the others ta get here."he offers with a shrug then looks out the window,"Or we could attempt ta take out the three guards at the gate quietly."

[Guest]

"Maybe." he replied. "So, how long do we want to wait?" He asked the group.

[Ironmonger]

"I'd razzer not be vaiting a long time for zeh ozzers, but at zeh same time I don't vant to risk an attack on zeh slavers as vee are. Vee don't know for sure zat zey just have soldiers and guns."

[MrMagma]

"Not long. A couple of hours, at most. Can't risk being spotted, or worse."

"Eve's gotta point, longer we stay here more of a chance of gettin' caught. So couple hours is probably as long as we can stay camped out here. Unless it gets dark soon, then we could probably stay here overnight since ah doubt the slavers will stay out when the bloodwings are huntin'."

Tumble's horn lit up and he floated flower out. He then peeked out one of the windows and tried to figure out the time of day. [PER(6)]

Flower shook a little as she was brought out, but stopped when she found Char and Clock were nowhere to be seen.
