Short fics/Writing Contest

So, the Fallout: Equestria group on FiMFiction is having a 500 member celebration/writing contest.
Short fics are great for getting a feel for the style of an author you want to try out. CamoBadger entered one, and there might be more of you out there that may want to try your hand at it. Of course, I may be preaching to the choir.
That said, check out the stories here. Of course, the best one (IMHO) is this one, but I'll leave it for you to decide.
