Of the skies and stars

Of the skies and stars, a new fanfic by me.
This has nothing to do with my Fallout Equestria: Broken Bonds fic in the slightest - though I may... (may) decide to reference BB at some point in some small way -- though I wouldn't make it anything out of place.

Now, what is it about?


Humans have figured out intergalactic flight, or think they have. With the successful experimentation of miniature prototypes of the hyper-warp drive, a larger version is made.
One man, James Mane, has both the knowledge of how the systems work and the physique to pull off space travel. No-one else was brave enough to volunteer, so he stepped up and took the role.

The story begins with him at the launch pad, ready to take flight in the Celestia One - the pioneer ship to test out this device.

However, something goes wrong during the long journey... He found Equestria.



There is no interaction with the mane 6 and not even namedropping directly.
There is namedropping of Celestia and Luna though I'm unsure on if there will be interaction with them.
There is no quest to save the world or undo some kind've evil unleashed on Equestria and definitely no shipping with canon characters.
Lastly, James is not myself inserted into the world. He is his own man.

Looks somewhat interesting so far.
For chapter 2, I suggest you capitalize "dad". It's his title. There are a few typos around but nothing major.

This is... wow.

Got another (incredibly short) chapter out.
The quality is super low as always and not at all worth reading, though it's mostly just to try get me feeling less buried deep in debt for my sickness to my writing.


When I lose the habit of writing regularly for long enough, it feels daunting to get back into at first but then once I start and get the feel for it again, I'm fine.

Ah well, hopefully the next chapter compensates.
