Whisper thinks for a bit
"Oh, almost forgot."
He grabs the megaspell form Aon's bags
"don't need this floatin' around."
He disappears in a vale of shadows.
"Now, someplace no one is gonna find it.*He thinks*Ah, I know exactly where."
A rift opens up in front of him, as he walks through he stands on an Icy cliff and looks down into drop, then looks around seeing no signs of civilization or anything living he drops the spell into the bottomless chasm, then reappears next to the group six hours later.

So ended the adventures of the mercenaries, who had gone from friends who found eachother in the cold, harsh wastes,
to a one big family.

Their stories, while seeming insignificant to them, became legends of mystery, and inspiration to all new adventurers.

After building the town, Aonee went on to start Wagon-Tech, building and arming transportation anywhere from one-pony carts
to the occasional skytank.

He also handles all things Science around the town, from reworking spell matrices to tweaking Pipbucks, and has managed to glean
enough knowledge from his Pinkie Seven AI to begin making his own, for all purposes and needs.

He almost always can be seen with a visor-like piece of headgear on him, carrying the second AI he ever created. The first went
to Emma, for her Power Armor.

Crystalane works with her brother in the clinic, healing not only physical wounds but putting her special talent to work easing
those who come through. News of her abilities spread, and some customers now come soley for the help she alone can provide them.

Soon after they were married, they had a beautiful daughter they named Sakura, and are raising her to live in the new world that
has been rebuilt.

The battered War, with help from Crys and Hope was rebuilt in time to have Whisper deliver her foal. After all this time she
still didn't have a name figured out, so she went with her fallback plan and named her "Red".

Her new foal gave her the confidence to pursue her dream to become a teacher. With the help of her friends she soon had a
daycare setup, a few years later she had built up a a good rapport with New Hope's newer citizens.

With that came a true school, she taught everything from Reading to Shooting to Math.

Classes she kept short for the most part, with her occasional night guard duty she wanted to spend as much time with her own
filly as possible.

Before she knew it Red was raised and moving out of her home. Red had no idea that would be the last day she spent with her
mother.

Soon after New Hope was founded Maverick helped building it. But before it was finished he told his friends, that he must go
to his daughter, since she was about to give birth.

There was no news about him, but little more, then year after, he came back to New Hope badly injured, with a little filly.
She looked like a little alicorn, but Maverick claimed, that she is his granddaughter. Just winged unicorn.

He said, that his daughter and her husband died in vertibuck crash. In same vertibuck was flying Maverick and his granddaughter.
Only by luck did they both survived.

He settled in New Hope and became its guard and hunter. He played his guitar occasionally in local bar with little band,
which he gathered.

Midnite Bastion and Obsidian Hope spent their life as a couple at Tenpony Tower with their friends and remaining townsfolk.
It would take time for them all to forgive him for running, and not all accepted him.

But his friends were there to support through the whole ordeal. He got a job maintaining things around the tower,
and enjoys working on random mechanical projects in his spare time.

He managed to rebuild and improve on the self-propelled carriage that he originally designed to try to save the citizens of
Dustborough years back, and uses it as a recreational/utility vehicle.

Hope became an important part of Dr. Helpinghoof's medical staff, expanding on what she learned from Crystalane.
She's to the point where she can deal with a majority of medical emergencies on her own without needing Helpinghoof present.

Buckshot advanced to second in command of security. Still not top of the heap, but there with enough power and responsibility.
He and Midnite are good friends again.

Following the activation of the Gardens of Equestria, Shutterbug went abroad with Alphabetical Order to chronicle and take
photos of the changes to the Equestrian Wasteland.

Due to the Twilight Society becoming more open to the public, Midnite gained access to Twilight's research documents in the
athenaeum, and improved his shield magic to the point that he can create "Shining Armor"-level shields.

On the flip side, this made Midnite become an important member of the Twilight society, as well as an important protective asset.
As such, he can't leave the premises of Tenpony very often.

He uses his influence, however, to help direct trade, travel, and interest to the town his "family" founded. He and Hope try
to visit them as often as possible.

Willow stayed with the crew for two months. He and several other deer helping them to build their town.

However, his obligations as a shaman of the Whitetail soon caught up with him, and with Violet by his side, he returned to
his tribe's hidden valley.

The lessons the wasteland had taught him soon gained Willow respect as both a warrior and a shaman, gaining him the
title of Master within only a year, and although it was met with much opposition in the early days, his relationship with
Violet soon gained acceptance and was embraced by many in his tribe as Violet herself proved her worth through trials and
contests.

Over the years, the two made many frequent visits to the town of New Hope, keeping close ties with those they considered
to be family.

Eventually, the Tribal court appointed Willow as official ambassador between them and the NCR.

Finally content with himself, if only because of the brain damage, Nova settled in a cave only a short distance from the town,
where he committed his days to experiments and inventions. He did end up inventing incredible inventions, but he always threw
them out, calling them 'plain'.

He usually only kept the ones that involved toasters.

Having finally found the love of her life, Violet went on to become well respected amongst her and Willow's tribe. Content with
her acceptance of her past, the question of her goodness never again crossed her mind.

Terra found herself too busy with raising three kids to ever find another job, but she didn't mind. In reality, having a family
was all that she ever really wanted, even when she didn't know it.

Flame’s life was filled with death. He knew this, and dealt with the consequences. However, the untimely death of his
old friends was...different. HE put them down. No-one else. It was his burden to bear.

There was a light at the end of the tunnel for him, though...
In the form of Judgement. They may have had their disputes in the past, but now, they stand side by side. No matter what the
Wastes shall throw at them, they’ll fight, they’ll love, and they’ll endure.
Just like old times.

Moody would settle down with the others in New Hope. Despite Emma and the new shop keeping him busy and grounded to the town,
years of being a caravanner had left him with some wanderlust. Every year or so he would make a special trip to Friendship City
to pay his respect to Fix-it as well as traveling up to Coltshire to see Chain Mesh and Jury Rig, but always made sure to ask
his friends to come with if they wanted to.

And yes, he finally did get his shotgun back.

Once the group settled down, Whisper opened up his own clinic. Which he happily works at with his. Sister, Crystalane, and his
cyberdog, Roxie. Providing some of the best medical care outside of Tenpony tower.

Once a year he tries to take a trip back
to his old home to visit his father’s grave. His greatest joy in life is spending time with his wife and kids.

As Whisper’s nurse and faithful canine companion, Roxie makes sure all of his patients follow his recovery instructions and
that they take their medicine on time.

When she’s not working at the clinic she spends her time sleeping at the foot of
her master’s bed or playing with the town’s children.

When the group finally settled down, Emerald married the love of life, Moody Blues, and opened armor shop, making expertly
crafted pieces of armor.

Once Aonee, was able to make a duplicate Pinkie Seven AI, she went right to work on creating her
prototype power armor. Several failed attempts, and one singed mane later. She was finally able to create a working suit of
AI assisted power armor.

-------

And so ended the story of the mercs, who's tale would be told from generation to generation.

But that's not where the whole story ends, oh no. Unbeknownst to them, Fate would pick a new group of heroes, a group whose
bloodline was awefully close to the original...

And in the east, fires burn as the island nation of Japony prepares for war...

Because War, War never changes.
