Moody watches as Emma walks away with the rifle.
"Hmm what? Oh yes, sure. I'm all ears."
He sees Crys.
"Got wrangled into coming here?"

((2 hours and almost 1000 words later, it is finally done. Whether it is good or not is a different story. I also couldn't be bothered colouring most of the character's text, but there isn't that much talking anyway. My brain hurts after doing this.))

Flame stood in a chapel, surrounded by ponies he knew. However, his friends were missing. He noticed he was wearing a suit. He begins looking around in worry. A ghoul presides over the ceremony. He is stood opposite the silhouette of a pony. Just a dark figure. There are other dark figures in the crowd as well. Flame assumes that these dark figures must be ponies he doesn’t know. A soft, well spoken voice comes from the silhouette stood near him.
“I take you, Flame Thorn, to be my husband; and I promise before the Goddesses and these witnesses to be your loving and faithful wife; in plenty and in want; in joy and in sorrow; in sickness and in health; as long as we both shall live.”
Upon the uttering of the final words, all hell broke loose. The doors were blown inward by a violent explosion. The stained glass windows are shattered by pegasi flying through them. What Flame notices most, however, is that this attack is lead by his friends. His bride-to-be is quickly dropped in a barrage of gunfire. Flame, not even knowing who this pony is, apart from it's apparently his wife, feels compelled to avenge her death. In a fit of rage, he grabs his shotguns from under his suit, and his sword from atop the altar. He briefly wonders for a moment why he brought weapons to a wedding in the first place, before coming back to ‘reality’. Flame dives behind a nearby pew before the gunfire is diverted to him. After almost a full minute of continuous fire, there is silence. Then, a familiar voice echoes across the bullet-riddled stone walls of the chapel. “Think we got ‘im?” Flame couldn’t believe his ears. His friends were trying to kill him!
“Only one way to find out. Spread out, see if you can find his body.”
Flame began to panic, and looked at his shotguns, the words ‘Pain’ and ‘Gain’ carved in their framework. He looked at the body of his late wife, and starts sobbing silently. [Alertness, 7+2 Perception] Flame hears hoofsteps to his right. They’re close. He thrusts his sword in the direction of the steps, and is rewarded with a thud as the body hits the floor. Flame remembers the words of his drill sergeant in Basic. ‘None who stand against you deserve to live.’ He looks up to the roof of the chapel, and sees the forms of Luna and Celestia, seemingly staring at him. They will him into battle. Just like the good old days. Flame slowly stands, and points his shotguns at War and Crys, the two ponies stood closest to him. “Lookin’ for little old me?” He blasts them down with both barrels, and takes cover again to reload. The gunfire begins again, slowly chipping through the stone pew Flame sat behind. 3 down. As he clicked the barrels into place, Nova stepped around the corner. He always was the unlucky one. His sudden appearance is met with 2 shells to the torso, and a sword through the bottom of his head. Flame is hit by a bullet in his leg, but is so fueled by adrenaline and rage that he doesn’t even notice. He looks around at the bodies of the fallen. His wife, Crys, War, Nova and Moody lie dead around the chapel. He feels a slight sense of remorse. ‘Remember, Flame. They started shooting you first. You’re only doing what you must.’ Violet and Willow are stood side-by-side, rock golems moving to flank Flame. ‘Two can play at that game, Willow.’ Flame had vowed to never use dead friends to fight for him, but this was an exception. These obviously weren’t his friends anymore. Flame resurrects all of the bodies in the room, except that of his wife, and has them occupy the golems, whilst he charges down the pair, suppressing them with his shotguns, before swiftly decapitating Violet, and stabbing Willow, looking straight into his eyes as he died before him. Maverick, Aonee and Guard began shooting Flame, most shots only skimming him or missing him completely as he moved between cover. He throws his sword with his telekinesis, and it finds it’s way into Aonee’s throat, and ends up pinning him against the wall as he chokes. Flame stands behind a pillar, reloading his shotguns. Flame hears Luna’s voice whisper in his ear. “One last push. That’s all it will take.” Flame dives out of cover, and begins charging Guard and Mav down, emptying his shotguns in their direction. One of the shots is lucky enough to pulverise Guard’s horn. The rest managed to fill the pair with small holes. Mav was dead, some of the pellets pulping his eyes. Guard lie on the floor, barely moving but still alive.
“So, Flame. Ya gonna kill me?” He begins coughing a deluge of blood, and tries reaching for his rifle. Flame kicks it away, and grins at Guard.
“The name’s Legion.” Flame’s voice sounds almost demonic, as he rears up and stomps on Guard’s head.
He removes his suit, showing bullet holes and glancing hits almost all over his body. Despite this, he moves over to the body of his wife, and begins crying. "I tried. Goddesses know that I tried. I'm so sorry." Flame takes his sword out of Aonee's body, and makes the decision. "Don't worry. I'll be with you soon." After a long wait, Flame stabs himself, dying next to his wife.

Flame, once again, awakes with a jolt, and begins quietly sobbing in his bed.

((Thus continues Flame’s degrading mental condition. I don’t know why I like abusing his mental state so much. Opinions?))

((Just don't make us put him down. I don't think Moody can take having to kill another friend. Other then that it was great.))

Guard looks at Moody seriously
"Now, I just want ya ta be gentle with Emma. For as long as I've known her see's gotten picked on cause her abilities with guns talkin' to her and what not so she's new ta this, like real new. Now I'm sure ya won't do anythin' ta hurt her, in fact yer probably the best buck for her. I just thought I should let ya know."

[Moodyman90]

Moody nods.
"Understood. But right now I'd rather die then to hurt her in any way. I know I just met her, but I think she's the one."

[Aonee]

Yup. And now I'm going back. *Leaves and gets back into he's with Aonee*

[Guest]

Guard smiles
"Hey I ain't one ta judge, just look at me an Terra. Like I said I'm sure y'all yer gonna be real happy together."
He pats him on shoulder
"Now go on and work with yer mare I'm sure she'll love the company."

[Guest]

Roxie walks into War's room following a familiar scent, she looks in the room and follows the scent all the way to War's saddle bags. She takes a sniff and begins to whine.

"I'd love to but I think I need to grab my gear from the house. That way I'll be ready for when we head out. Speaking of which, when are we going to get to that job?"

[Guest]

*She wakes up, eyes Roxie and steps across the room. She opens her bags and pulls out Last's hat. She levitates it in front of Roxie's nose.*

*She pats her head.*
Sorry girl, he's gone.

[Guest]

"As soon as Commander Scatter gets back. He'll know what we're goin' up against, he should be back today."
He smiles
"Go get yer stuff, if she gets done fore ya come back I'll tell her you'll be back."


Roxie looks at War sadly and whines, while curling up next to War.

"Alright, Thanks Guard!"
And with that he takes off running back to the house to grab his gear. As he gets there and goes for his 10 MM and battle rifle he spots 21 and Love and Hate to the side. He sighs as sadness starts to grip him again, he grabs his weapons and whatever else he thinks he needs and starts to leave.

*She continues searching through her saddlebags. A couple of snack cakes float out of her bags.*

Found these when I was searching through his things, I've never seen Last eat them and Celestia knows I don't like them.

*She puts them down next to Roxie.*

Why don't you take them?

Roxie eats the snack cakes then licks War's cheek.

Moody makes his way back to the armory, his head not quite as high. He walks in and sees that Guard is still there.
"I hope I haven't missed to much."

[Guest]

"Nope, she's still in the workshop"

Emma walks out of the workshop with the rifle and goes to Guard
"Here you go, she's as good as I can get her."

Guard smiles
"Thanks, Emma"
Gives her a hug and walks back to the house.

Emma looks at Moody and all of his stuff
"What's with all stuff?"She gasps and looks sad"Your not leaving already are you?"

"No no of course not! I just wanted to move some of my gear over here. Though we may have to leave in a few days. We're actually here on a job, Guard can explain it better."
He goes over to her and nuzzles her.

[Katarn]

*wakes up, almost falling from couch on his new guitar*
Woha!
*places guitar on couch and walks towards window*
It's morning already..heh.
*looks back at guitar*
Why do I have an urge to play guitar right now?
*walks back and grabs guitar. Thinks for a moment, closes his eyes and starts playing. He cuts his play in the middle, remembering something from his past*
*looks at celling* *w*I'm such a mess, ain't I? *w*

Gives Moody a nuzzle
"Oh, well just go find a spot in the workshop and place it anywhere."
She walks Moody into the workshop and thinks
"Do you think it would be alright if I left with you guys? I mean I like it here, but..."

Moody looks at her.
"Are you certain? I mean, you've lived here all your life right? I'll be honest and say it'll be great if you joined us, but it's such a big decision to just leave your home."
He thinks for a moment.
"I'm not saying you can't join us, just I don't want you jumping head first into our group. We're... very dysfunctional at times and we seem to be neck deep into trouble every other day. Although we are talking about making a new town once we're done, and I'd love to open up a workshop with you."

((I do want her to join, but I think it's law to play the "don't want you in harms way" card, also, nice video haha.))

((I had planned on her joining the group since I thought her up. Plus I find her character really fun to play.))
Emma shakes her head
"I've thought about it before, around when Whispy left. I mean, Crackshot, my brother, was dead. Whispy was gone, I didn't really have any other friends so I was alone. I was about to leave once, but I got lucky and got promoted to head of armory. I was happy, then when you and Whispy showed back up."She starts to tear up."I-I realized how much I missed having around somepony that actually cared. So please? Can I?"She stares at Moody teary eyed.

((I am back now! Oh and Robo, I think that's the first pic I've seen of Hope. *Dies of diabetes* *Again*))

Moody hugs her and wipes some of her tears away.
"If you're that sure then yes you can come with us. And as long as I'm alive you'll never be alone again."

[Guest]

Emma hugs Moody tighter and gives him a kiss
"Thank you, Moody. You don't know how happy that makes me."


Guard walks back into the house and looks at Mav
"So, ya figured out why ya keep gettin' musical instruments from ghosts?"

Moody holds her close and kisses her back.
"I just hope I can keep you happy" he thinks to himself.
