Yet another random artist I found while clicking links from other music I was listening to. I can't get enough of this stuff:

Homeworld's soundtrack is freaking fantastic. It captures the atmosphere so well, especially 'Main Theme', actually 'Adagio for Strings' performed with Quire of Voyces, that plays during the first and third missions--the departure of and then return to Kharak. First it's a hopeful tune, the Kushan's launching of the Mothership in search of their long lost home, and then it's a despairing one, as the Mothership, and its crew of 150000-650000 (depending on mission performance) becomes the race's only hope for their survival when they discover Kharak's destruction upon returning from a test run. Here it is:



The whole soundtrack is very ambient, and all quite fitting.

I absolutely love that track, so amazing.

It's so much better with the game. Nostalgia fuel even for me; the game's nearly as old as I am, and I used to watch my dad play it. There I learned how godly Salvage Corvettes were. Seriously, the one unarmed large strike craft ship is the most potent one in the entire game.

I dunno about Hyuna its an interesting twist with the lyrics... but eh

I just wish it wasn't so short.

I don't quite remember the funeral, but I remember his death. I wasn't very sad then, but upon reflection, he was a great character. I'd have to choose him if one character HAD to die. He was after all, a 200 year old soldier that never got to leave a war behind, to live happily.
I was looking for an FO:E song that had similar chords and feeling to part of Crysis 2's soundtrack when I stumbled on that music.
*Now has more motivation to re-read Fallout Equestria*
