Does that make you a form of trypophiliac? XD

But this is one of those large bundles of hurt where it's hard to be rational. Combine that with this person has "head up their ass" syndrome when it comes to anything involving emotions. I could vent my feelings, but rebuilding that trust is tenuous enough that being completely honest would cause them to shut down and run away. I'd like to steer this person to a path where they won't repeat the sames that they did to me. No clue how to do that.

Swicked, you seem like you have a good head on your shoulders. I figured you might be able to shine some light on forgiveness, even if I have trouble articulating.

This is self-pandering, but the concept of liking grimdark, uniqueness, forgiveness... I actually wrote a poem a month or so ago that very briefly refers to this stuff and a little more, making me kinda want to share, if nobody minds...

Everyone
Everyone’s a sinner, everyone’s unique. Everyone’s a balance between clear and quite oblique.
Everyone’s a monster, everyone has worth, everyone is lovable if only at their birth.
Everyone has wisdom, should they ever share. Everyone can listen, everyone could care.
But everyone has burdens that sometimes brings them low and while many are crushed by them, I praise those that still grow.

Oh, fuck me. Managed to hit some ctrl/alt and some button, and it closed my effing reply tab.
Have to re-write... just hope I can recall what I said.

First was a "omigosh" about a RP session, my guerilla dwarf is in deep trouble after making a heroic sacrifice to keep the rest of the party safe... which somehow gave me less XP from the encounter, the one that just ran got more) Got hit by 5 fireballs after pulling the pins of my dracotechnics. Went down to -16 hp and was out cold, if I hadn't went out, I'd have gotten 13500 xp hehe. Stabilized at -24 hp, and really anxious to know what'll happen next.

@Swicked (I think it was, regarding Somber) Actually, the author of Heroes is... xD

@About Styg: I don't see why he'd join Chapel tbh, he wouldn't really have a reason too, and it'd seem to conflict with his two primary goals. One of which technically could be joining there, but it'd also mean leaving his ... flock?

... think I forgot something here. But ah well. I think I replied to all things .

And I'll have to skip the current discussions due to wooziness, past few days, and overall some of the topics being a weak point for me.

You shared your words and they showed truth and betterment. Then you show artistry as well. Of course you may see some improvement you need, but you've clearly already improved in ways much of us need. I, for one, know a few who could use this kind of moral boot up their ass. You know that poem probably earned you a fan or two? I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm as eager for another as I would be for one of Ryx's drawings. Perhaps I'm not alone? I can't help but get the impression that this wasn't your goal, so I have to ask: What do you think of that? Do you care that you've spread wisdom and raised yourself in the eyes of others? I know it's just an internet forum and all, but humour me. It's still people on the other side of the screen.

@Wave
Reluctant praise is fine, too! XD

@Tyler
Were you around when I wrote Duel with the Dealer or The Legend of Blackjack?
I've also written love poems about Blackjack and P-21. Separately, I mean. I'm not a shipper :P
And a lot of skits.
Yeah... thanks :)

@Meleagridis
I don't know what to say. I care about helping others, but... not so much wanting to raise myself in the eyes of others, as you put it? I don’t know quite who I’m appealing to, I suppose. Getting people to like or respect me is not something I’ve ever been good at, even if I HAVE succeeded at it from time to time. At the very least most people seem to dislike me initially.

This stuff means a lot to me, so I have a hard time sharing it sometimes. I don’t like that reluctance, though, so I try to work against it. My best friend is able to share anything with anyone, and it’s amazing. I want to be more like him.
In regards to the poem they are hardly all as meaningful as this one was. I talked to Somber some time ago about poetry and he referred me to some of his favorites. He was an English teacher, so it’s hardly surprising.
A lot of them dealt with real fears, passions, struggle and need. So I’ve been working on trying to write poems that can change someone instead of the previous topics I’ve focused on like immersion, engagement, beauty or humor. I don’t have much of a well to draw from as my struggles are more of a personal nature as opposed to having something more real like, say, an actual gun to my face, but hopefully I’m starting to get somewhere.
I have to admit, when I first wrote it, I suppressed an urge to immediately send it to him and ask if I was improving. I'm a dork XD

While we are somewhat on the topic of self-improvement and morals, is it a bad thing to try to make people around myself think I am miserable? I'm not sure why I do this...

Possibly, most people desire sympathy on some basic form and people try to manipulate the reactions of those around you in order to gain sympathy. Can be good if one desire a shoulder to lean on or a open ear. Can be bad if it is simply done for attention. If one is really miserable it's is really best to find someone who will actually listen and care. Or you can take the route I took...... I would not advice that route.

Hmm. I think it is a defense mechanism. When I acted happy all the time, someone once said that it was annoying to her because I acted like nothing was ever wrong, which was essentially true until I stared encountering stress and emotional issues. I do think there is a sympathy-seeking element, but I don't like talking about my problems to anyone. I am really shut up, in person. The people here know more about me than anyone else.

Personal modification of self evaluation and creation of a faux martyrdom complex.

In other words destroy the the though of personal gratification and focus on the happiness and personal feelings of others.

And we have another spontaneous thread fission!

Now I'm wondering what Cloudsville's binding energy per post chart is... Or does it have one? The parallel isn't exact, after all; the fission is based on thread mass, but the problem is that we've only got a neutron analogue. Or is there a proton analogue somewhere? Hm...

Any ideas?

... I was going to reply to this, but then I realized that I just had a doozy of an apocalyptic dream. One of those ones that's actually got internal logic and consistency to boot. Fun! But it interrupted my train of thought. Bottom line: balefire bombs going off a long ways away are strangely beautiful. And the end of the world makes people do some crazy things.

Okay, yes. Replying to this. Personal query - what is the main problem with living your life this way? I know it's not fun, and you never feel like you've done enough, and the parts of you you're suppressing tend to get, uh, angry - what, if anything, am I missing? Don't answer if you don't want to, of course.

Okay, yes. Replying to this. Personal query - what is the main problem with living your life this way? Don't answer if you don't want to, of course.

General low self esteem to doormat/ I am the scourge of the earth proportions and the feeling that I am utterly worthless and useless as a human being also you tend to not really react well when someone actually shows loyalty and affection platonic or otherwise as you pretty much have no instinctual way to respond to that and when ever you fail some task or another you tend to beat yourself up REALLY badly. also sorry about before misread the quote.

@ Hinds: GAHH The maths keep them away. I already want to kill every single Greek of the past don't make me want anymore!!1
