Pinkie Pie cardboard cutout! (pictures finally added)

I made myself a medium size (didn't have the cardboard for lifesize) stand-up cut out of Pinkie Pie!!!

she stands just about 21.5 inches tall and is make using PosterRazor, as opposed to Rasterbator (i love that programs name) because Rasterbator makes it easier on the printer by making the picture into a series of dots, however this only works on VERY LARGE images, and for a 3x3 page "mural" its not ideal. PosteRazor instead just takes the image and simply blows it up, thus making it fit upon many pieces of printer paper, without losing quality (of course your image needs to have sufficient resolution).

Honestly, I'd love to make and sell them, but I'm not really good enough to feel good about charging right now. Maybe later, when I've got more practice. I just bought a paper trimmer and found a cheap place to buy X-acto knife blades so it is a possibility if you are serious! But I wouldn't charge much, probably just what the supplies cost and to ship it out.

I don't know if it's talent, I just get these random urges and have to make things sometimes. I have a homemade tattoo gun and a 'gas' powered mini potato gun on my shelf because that is what i do when I'm bored.

There, I added it to my sig with my quieter font (Don't know why but I don't like large text)

I actually have a fine looking one her on the computer but the choppiness on Derpy was due to the fact that I had originally uploaded it and it was WAY too big, and I used mspaint to resize it at a computer away from home, completely forgot about it until you mentioned it.

I APPROVE OF THIS HIGHLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is SO awesome!! I wish I could make cut outs! My whole room would be full of them :D

The hardest part is finding suitable size cardboard.

even some of the biggest boxes you find aren't that big, pinkie is only 21 inches and she was made using the massive box from my computer case.

So what do you do exactly? Find the right size cardboard and then print the picture out and glue it on?

Yup, exactly.

All you need is a printer, cardboard, a glue stick and an X-acto knife!
