Creative title, I know
first: I have no idea where to put this so a short disclaimer – this is a thread in which I'm hoping some of the like-minded individuals will provide me with creative ideas to torment my FoE RPG players.
So, long (not really) story short(er), I'm a GM (Game master, for all you unfortunate souls who never played pnp rpgs) and I have a team of 6 (+1 npc) crazy brain damaged ponies walking around post-FoE Equestria mostly blowing themselves up while they struggle to get to the first main quest checkpoint (for the last 10 sessiosn)
And it is my job to provide them with the highest quality entertainment by throwing all that the Equestrian Wasteland has to offer in balanced quantities to ensure the highest possible levels anguish with the lowest possible mortality rate among the characters.

With that said, I need few ideas and pointers as well as a reminder from time to time (like for example, I really don't remember the details of some of the FoE locations, like Hope, New Appleoosa and things like that)


So to get this thing going, I need an idea to force a team of 7 ponies (with two pegasi) underground into a network of tunnels. To make it simple, one pegasus has a broken wing and the other isn't too much of a flier.

Well, it takes place not too long after the end of Foe. I'm ignoring all other side-fics except for few things from HP to spice things up a little bit.
As for where.... west from New Appleoosa, still a good while before they get there though.

I'm bored and I really have to take a small break from PH because the last chapter overloaded my feels-capacitor (Lacunae :()
so, here's something for you to read - the records of my RPG session in FoE-verse
 
The story  begins, as it usually does, on a boring shift in the stable, in the maintenance section with two earth ponies trying not to fell asleep. the stable 15 (I found no canon info on that stable, so I made it up) consisted mostly of unicorns from MoI and MAS from the north-west Equestria and had a rather segregated society with unicorns being the 'better' of the two races and earth ponies being reduced mostly to the maintenance work.
there's a rather small mare named Dash o'Pepper (the girl who's playing her has an entire genealogy of her figured out, going through a lot of spices) with a wrench as a cutie mark and a huge buck names Cage... with a crate as his cutie mark.
suddenly they hear an alarm they never heard before. Pepper checks her pipbuck and he sees a stable-wide broadcast that the main doors are being open from the outside. they both run to check it and they see 20 security ponies and the overmare talking with two pegasi, a mare and a stallion. they try to convince her of something, but they're failing and in a matter of minutes they are overwhelmed and tossed into the high security cell, unarmed and with their armors taken. so our two earth ponies, who now discovered that there indeed is something outside of the stable, now want to go out so they go to the outsides to talk. Cage (who also is pretty skilled with the ladies) talks with a security mare while Pepper tries to get some info out of the outsides. The mare is Crystal bullet, and the stallion is Hidden Maze and is her older brother. they are from the Wasteland and they came to the stable looking for some info in the archives. Both earth ponies decided to help them. first Pepper took out the security mare with a well-placed kick to the head, then they disabled the lock on the cell and went for the armory for armor and weapons. in the meantime Crystal Bullet took out a knife she somehow managed to smuggle in and started to stab the unconscious security mare. Pepper stopped her and they somehow managed to stop the bleeding and stabilized her. after an obligatory "we should leave you here to answer for this" they got over it and went to the stable archive. there Maze took out an old pipbuck/arcane matrix computer contraption he built using parts from few power armors and broken pipbuck he got from his father (a dashite ex-enclave officer) and hacked the mainframe. there he discovered that the pony they were looking for is actually Pepper (they don't know why yet :P) so with that mission objective completed they turned on the emergency lockdown protocol of the stable and ensured a clear path to the main doors. there they  successfully intimidated few guards and run outside.
obligatory 'ponies see the sky for the first time and are scared' scene they continue on east to get to the next objective - get Pepper to Tempony Tower.
with inventory full of weapons from the stable, brand new armors and utility bardings they bump into a band of 3 raiders and what's left of a caravan. the sight isn't too pretty for the earth ponies, tow mares were killed, raped, chopped to pieces and raped again, as per protocol and raiders were trying to open the crates. well, a short fight and a lot of vomiting and anguish later (mainly on Pepper's account, since Cage is really resilient and both pegasi saw worse things) they buried the corpses, healed themselves with potions they found in one of the crates and took some food. aster another long walk and some talking the weather started to get nasty (stable ponies were pretty surprised that the water is leaking from the sky, poorly maintained pipes or something, I don't remember)  and they hid in a small radroach-infested cave that after cleaning turned out to have a sealed metal door.

I suppose this thread really didn't work out too well... but I have a question for you guys:
Judicial system in Tenpony Tower... how would you say it works and is there anything between "not guilty" and "hang her"?

There's probably a few cells, for when people in the tower drink a bit too much and start saying and doing things they'll later regret in the morning.

As for worse offenses... I think as long as it's not something like Raiding and associated activities (where it's death penalty, no questions asked), they would just banish you from the Tower.

Hmm
Well, I have this NPC, basically a mercenary and she get wrongly accused of murdering 10 ponies. The pony who framed her then orchestrated her escape during which she managed to kill 2 guards. She then got captured and returned to the tower, but the team of brave ponies (my players) helped to prove her innocence. Still, she killed 2 ponies. What would the Tower ponies do?

If you want her to live, maybe you can have the people in the Tower be convinced to just throw her out ? Though that would probably require a few speech / barter / other check rolls.

Otherwise, yeah, she's probably gonna get the axe.

I don't have preferences one way or the other to be honest. She served her purpose as far as I'm conceder, but the players worked pretty hard to clear her name... well, some of them at least... so killing her in the end just feels unfair towards their effort. So yeah, banishment IF they manage to talk to the council seems a pretty good idea.

Well Monterey (I think that was his name.) was hung for attempting to rob Pip. I think generally speaking and this is somehing that was in Fallout 3 (It was during the loadscreens.) They pretty much said there's no jail in the wasteland. Which makes pretty good sense, You don't want to pay for criminal. They need water food blah blah blah. But that doesn't mean you can't get creative.

This has already been brought up but if the council thinks the group is going to make more trouble later if they kill the pony they might let her go and give the whole group a banishment. Or you could go the route of other forms of punishment. As a kid I heard if you stole many many years ago (I'm not sure if this is true it was just somehing I was told as a child. Maybe it's true maybe it's not I'm not gonna look it up.) they'd take your hand. Maybe that's something to think about.

There are routes to punish her without locking her up (Which no one would do.) or killing her.

I think I'll go with banishment with the shoot on fight option if the group manages to convince the council. I might add few rounds on a whipping post too just to satisfy the bloodthirsty family members of the dead guards. Does that make me an evil person? <_<

When exactly was Pinkie's meltdown (overdose on mint-als, seeing ponies form the future and asking RD to create those six memory orbs)? I mean, how many days, approximately, it happened before the bombs fell?
