[I cannot move your troops from C3 to D4, your are the one who said that allowing to move troops diagonally was a game breaker.

In the future, work out your maths before posting your moves, I'm not here to do your maths on your behalf.

My advice would be : copy the map and work out your movements on your copy, and transmit me the troop movements in the same format I post mines.]

E2 : 10.33 => E3
F2 : 6 => E2
F3 : 1.66 => E3
F3 : 0.5 => F4
G3 : 0.5 => G4

Military matters :

- Fortifications efforts : all territories of The Republic gain a +10% defense bonus => current defense bonus : +20% for all the territories of The Republic.

[I am currently assuming that we are both working with 1860's weaponries at the moment. Agreement ?]

[end of my turn]
[Eeyup]
D4 attacks E4 with a strength of 14.66 against 6.66
(2+10+4)x(14.66/6.66)=35.22
The troops all scream before the battle, "TO THE REPUBLIC'S CAPITAL!"

C3 sends it's remaining forces of 6.33 to D3.
B3 retreats back to the capital.

All other areas fortify.

[Sorry, I worked it out you just typed the wrong number for C3.  C2 is right.  C3 now has 0 and D3 has 13]
[Now it's your turn to roll for E4's defense]

[defense roll]
E4
(10+3+1)x1.2=16.8
The territory fall. 2 Troop Token retreat into F4. What do you wish to do with the territory ?

[C3's force cannot be cleanly cut in half. there's a 0.33 that will have to go one way or another]

Retreat back into D4.

[okay, the turn is over for you. My turn now.]

Trade & Diplomacy:

- As the Phoenixian ambassador offer an Armistice to the government of The Republic, a range of emotions appears on the faces of the people gathered to hear the proposal. Anger, mostly.
No answer is given to the Ambassador, him being simply conducted back to the embassy under escort.

Actions :

- The Senate vote the state of Total War. All the resources of The Republic are mobilized toward the War Effort. => all territories gain troop tokens equal to their resource index. Every four turns, all territories must roll for rebellion.

Military affairs :

- Fortification bonus +10%. Current fortification bonus for all territories : +30%

[attack patterns and troop movement to follow in the next post.]

Trade & Diplomacy:
The ambassador offers terms of the armistice:  "The Republic has already suffered three definitive loses and we already have massive chunks of The Republic's territory clearly under Phoenixian control.  We will return E4 to you in exchange for B1 and B2 who have been under our control since the start of the war.  It is better in your regard to admit a short term loss against a enemy who is winning and offers you a chance out of the fight.  There is no honor in our continued fight with The Republic as you have demonstrated three times in a row that you can not win. We have less land. We have less resources. We have a lesser army and we have still won all three battles. There is no longer any honor in fighting against you."

The war continue.

[Okay, question : do you, or do you not, accept that one territory can be attacked in a single attack from multiple territories ?

Also, do note that when you lose a territory, you loose a number of troops equal to its resource index, or double that if you are in a state of Total War. That's what I did with E4 (with the only two troops which managed to retreat, the others having been lost with the territory)]

[Yeah they can be attacked from multiple territories if the territories are connecting

Also do you accept the armistice?]

Trade & Diplomacy:

- The Ambassador receive no answer.

Battle :

E3 (20) and F4 (8) attack E4 (14.66).
(6+4+5)x(28/14.66)=28.65
[I'll note that your defensive bonus cannot exceed 10% if and only if you had decided to start fortification work the last turn when you invaded the territory. If that's not the case you have no defensive bonus for this battle]

[reminder : +30% defense bonus for all territories of The Republic from fortification work this turn, +40% next turn]

E4 rather than face another battle retreats back to D4.

[Those troops didn't come from E4.  They came from the homeland cause none of my troop index comes from acquired land]
[Also how long can a total war be active?  Cause indefinitely doubling your troop index is kind of unrealistic cause your economy would go into freefall.  Like turn wise?  3 or 4 turns?]

[You have currently 58.33 troops deployed. The sum of the resource index of all your territories, minus the occupied ones, is 57.66.

Add 0.66 troop tokens somewhere in the territories under you control.]

[Concerning the state of Total War : every 4 turns I have to roll for rebellion for each and everyone of my territories individually. With such odds of seeing things get out of control you cannot argue that it is over-powered.]

Phoenixia uses it's turn to double the amount of fortication it normally does by working day and night to prepare their defense.

B1 & B2 roll for rebellion:
B1:
6,3,7
average of 5.33
B2:
10,7,3
average of 6.67

Also Phoenixia offers to extend to B1 and B2 to become a legal state of Phoenixia:
Roll for B1:
9,4,7
6.67(rounds up)
Phoenixia welcomes B1 to statehood.

Roll for B2:
1,9,8
average of 6
Attempt failed.
[Don't forget you have to roll for rebellion]
[Is it by area or as a whole cause I've been rolling for each area]

[I don't think you can double your fortification rate from 40% to 80% in one turn. However Yes you can double the rate at which the fortification rate goes up. So you gain +20% this turn. As you said.]

[it is not yet time for me to roll for rebellion concerning the state of war. And I don't have to roll for rebellion with E4 given it's been my territory for a long time now, and I only liberated it.]

[is it the end of your turn ?]

[Fuck, I forgot about that.  Change it from 3.66 moving to 2.66.  1 troop index is to remain on B2, but C2 will have a troop index of 11.33+2.66=13.99(it's easier to just call it 14)]
